The soft serve is gluten free and completely separate from all other products. Very good!
The allergen menu has a wide variety of options that are gluten free. They are great about discussing what’s available and safe and they were so friendly. We had strawberry and vanilla, scoop froggy frog mixed with chocolate, and The Candy Bar which is peanut butter flavored ice, caramel ice and chocolate ice cream layered together.
We’ll definitely be back!
I’m celiac and work here. We have a complete list of allergies if you ask for them, sprinkles are a no go. If you are super sensitive ask that they use a new scoop for your order.
This place is awesome for a sweet treat! You pick one or more flavors of Italian ice, ice cream or gelato. I looked up their allergen information online ahead of ordering. There are tons of GF flavors and even some sugar free ones.
We had a good experience in a location in another state so have been using this location near our home. Each time I visit, I explain that my son and I are celiac and cannot have any cross contamination from shared scoops or crumbs from toppings leftover on gloves. Unfortunately, I was able to observe through the window that this location uses shared scoops between Italian Ice buckets and is rinsed in a common rinsing bucket between each scoop. When I tried to explain how this could make us sick, there wasn’t much response. We opted for soft serve only.
