I have only ordered from them twice since having to go GF, and it was great both times! I would refer to other commenters tips on the protocols the employees follow as far as how safe they are with criss contamination, but as a former sandwich fast food employee, I know they have to be very careful when someone says they have an allergy, and they are trained on how to handle it.

I ordered the #7, which I always get, with the GF bread, and I will say it was denser and drier than usual. The second time I ordered, I compromised with adding extra condiments and doubling the meat. Worked perfectly! Though I paid a little extra for the GF bread and the double meat, it gave me more servings than usual, so it almost evened out in price.

Staff is knowledgeable on gluten free prep. They have separate gluten free workspace and take the time to answer any questions you may have. Gluten free buns are Udi brand. Recommend to try the “sub in a tub” with no bread!

Manager waited on my husband and was super rude and very obviously put out that he asked for a gluten free sandwich. It takes a lot to upset him and even though he really likes Jersey Mike’s food he told them he wouldn’t be back because of the rudeness...I know for some people (that I have never met) choose gluten free but we are celiac.

Stopped here on a road trip, and the manager double checked that all meats were GF for us. After we ordered, all of the equipment and countertops were cleaned and wiped down. They use Udi’s sub bread which was in sealed plastic wrap until our order. The same newly cleaned knife was used throughout making our order, and our sandwiches were marked GF. It took a little longer for our order but I appreciated the thorough cleaning.
