After reading other reviews, I decided to try this location with caution after reading online about the precautions Jersey Mike’s takes in general. The gluten free bun was sealed and not opened until the grill was cleaned and gloves were changed. New clean utensils were used. Item was made on parchment paper. I’ve eaten here three times now with no issues. Food was excellent and something I’ve missed being gluten free. The Philly cheese steak is one of my new favorites.

I was excited that they now have GF buns, and I spoke with the manager about cross contamination, etc. I left feeling good, but then ate the sub and was immediately very sick. The bread comes pre-packaged, so my guess is they aren’t very good with cross-contamination on board surfaces, condiment utensils, etc.
No
They had no knowledge of gluten or cross contamination. The manager didn't even know if things were gluten free or not, including the bread! I am a celiac and I immediately chose to not eat there!

Our go to sandwich shop. Love that they clean the equipment.

I had a great experience here today! I ordered a gluten free chicken sub and watched the employee change his gloves, use a separate prep area, and get ingredients from a separate area so that I could eat safely!

Have been told they don’t do gluten free in the back on a separate slicer/ prep area. Cross contamination nightmare.
They take good care of us and follow protocols. The slicer and counter get wiped down, gloves are changed, and they use a clean knife and butcher paper to prepare our food.
