They are fantastic! I was told the owner is Celiac and they wipe everything down, change gloves and are very cautious. This location is highly recommended and delicious!

IMO, the staff and managers I’ve encountered are very knowledgeable about Celiac/importance of GF for people and cautious about cross contamination. They ask “allergy or preference?” When I requested gf, which I appreciate. I’ve been in to this location several times over that past 6 months and EVERY single time, prior to starting on my order, they have cleaned surfaces, changed gloves, made my sandwich in a separate area from other sandwiches, and packaged my sandwich in double paper and it’s own bag, separate from other sandwiches in the order. They keep their Udi’s gluten free bread double-wrapped and separate from everything else, they also have (and use!) dedicated (color-coded) knives and utensils for GF orders. All meat and cheeses are GF, so no risk of CC from the meat slicer. Oh, and they offer Udi’s Snickerdoodle cookies as a desert option!

They are so careful! Individually packaged GF subs, different utensils used, separate, cleaned prep area, cleaned equipment before prep, gloves changed, employees knowledgeable about GF protocols and owner himself has Celiac. I’ve eaten here several times very safely with no reactions.

They prepared the sandwich in a separate area. Made extra precautions for cross contamination. Excellent experience. Udi’s rolls.

Good about avoiding cross contact and stating allergies. Washed hands and changed gloves. Used a clean knife and seperate spatula for mayo. Use Udi's hoagie rolls that are packaged. Best sub sandwich I have had in a very long time!

They asked allergy/preference and changed their gloves, got fresh water, washed the slicer, prep area, and then changed their gloves again, brought out a special tray and a new knife, then made my sandwich. I have been to many Jersey Mike's, never had any issues at any of them, but never have I had that level of attention to detail.

Thankfully they have GF sub rolls (Udi’s are always dry!) The original Italian was tasty enough. I do love the freshness and the slice-as-it’s-ordered method.

FYI! They only have a gluten free prep station on week days. I went on the weekend and were unable to accommodate a separate prep area. I plan to return during the week and will update.
