The Manager asked his staff to stop everything and changed gloves and cleaned prep area as soon as we told him that my son has celiac disease. Subs were delicious. We visited this location a few times during our vacation.

Went in never having a sub in my life, the guy was excellent at making me feel comfortable, even when they weren’t doing something exactly how it should be and I spoke up they were very nice and welcoming about doing it so they don’t make me sick, overall great people great food.

The cold subs are your best bet here, as the hot subs go on the stove which has cross contamination with bread according to the staff member I spoke with. When I said I was getting a gluten free sub, they offered to change their gloves and get a dedicated cutting board. They seemed very knowledgeable about cross contamination. The staff member at the head of the line cleaned down the slicing machine and was persistent in making sure everyone down the line changed their gloves before my sub got to me. If you’re very sensitive, I could imagine cross-contamination might still be an issue with the possibility of crumbs getting in the toppings throughout the day. The bread is meh but overall a good sub and they even have a gf snickerdoodle cookie option.

I have only ordered from them twice since having to go GF, and it was great both times! I would refer to other commenters tips on the protocols the employees follow as far as how safe they are with criss contamination, but as a former sandwich fast food employee, I know they have to be very careful when someone says they have an allergy, and they are trained on how to handle it.
I ordered the #7, which I always get, with the GF bread, and I will say it was denser and drier than usual. The second time I ordered, I compromised with adding extra condiments and doubling the meat. Worked perfectly! Though I paid a little extra for the GF bread and the double meat, it gave me more servings than usual, so it almost evened out in price.

Have not eaten a sub/hoagie in almost 5 years and I am so glad I gave this location a try. Went after dinner rush (almost 7:30pm) and asked what precautions they take for Celiac's. Was told they wipe down the slicer and counter, new bread knife (actually have separate one they keep bagged on the shelf with the gluten free bread), wash hands, change gloves. They did exactly that and I am feeling fine the next morning as I write this. I did skip mayo (spreader sits in bin) and the dressing but was fine with the tomato, lettuce and onion out front.
