I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with Celiac Disease. I have had 2 bad experiences with this location, and this one was by far the worst. I have Celiac Disease and usually explain my needs. When I said I had a gluten allergy the worker grumbled and seemed visibly mad that he was going to have to clean the station. When I asked him to change towels to avoid contaminating the meat slicer with the rag he used on the counter with crumbs he proceeded to bluntly tell me that he knew what he was doing, and then contaminated it. I then asked if they could get my tomato and lettuce from the back to avoid contamination (other locations have politely done so) he looked at me with a rude tone and pointed to the sign and said that all he could do was wipe it off and that’s all he has to do, anything else would not be acceptable. I then had to tell them that unfortunately I would not be able to eat the food.

When ordering gluten free they clean the entire area including the slicer. They changed gloves and got all ingredients from the back. They have gluten free bread and keep it completely separate from the regular bread.
Any sandwich can be made gluten free and the gluten free bread is pretty good. They have chips and sometimes individually package gluten free cookies.

I had a great experience here today! I ordered a gluten free chicken sub and watched the employee change his gloves, use a separate prep area, and get ingredients from a separate area so that I could eat safely!

Have been told they don’t do gluten free in the back on a separate slicer/ prep area. Cross contamination nightmare.
They take good care of us and follow protocols. The slicer and counter get wiped down, gloves are changed, and they use a clean knife and butcher paper to prepare our food.
