They have gluten-free bread and a completely separate drawer of gluten-free toppings for their sandwiches. I would caution against getting anything grilled since they do go on the same grill, however the one time I did order something on the grill I had no issues as they cleaned it very thoroughly in front of me before using.

This is a fantastic place that caters to celiac and gluten allergies. Their gf bun is delicious and they are very safe about it. They wipe down the meat/cheese slicer, scrub the counters, take ingredients from new bins, use fresh paper, change their gloves etc. My favorite place.
Yes
One of the best fast foods that does everything they possibly can to avoid cross contamination. Plus a big bonus with the gluten free bun option.
This store does a great job cleaning everything before they make your sandwich, more so than other Jersey Mikes I have been to. My sandwich was very good and I will definitely be back again!
They were so friendly and knowledgeable. She washed her items before use and used a separate area for vegetables. All of their sandwiches can be made gf!

I went to this Jersey Mikes on Saturday 1/13/18. They were SO courteous & understanding of my GF needs due to being celiac. They scrubbed the meat slicer, made my sandwich on paper, toppings came from a separate cooler. Due to the time they take to try to create a GF experience, I would recommend going during non-busy times. Personally I feel bad making other people wait because of my needs, especially if it’s a busy lunch time etc.
Yes
Very friendly. They took precautions by changing gloves, putting down clean paper and getting toppings from unused containers.
$2.50 extra for gluten-free bread. Sandwiches are good. They were pretty good with precautions. Still, if I were super sensitive, I’d be worried about the amount of wheat flour crumbs floating around.

Service took a while. I ordered ahead of time even. I waited around 15 minutes once I arrived and was told it would take longer because of my allergy. Overall bread was hard and fell apart while eating it.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get a gf sub. They asked allergy or preference, wiped down the counter, put down paper, used a clean knife, changed gloves, and were cool about grabbing toppings from the back. They even moved the sandwich to fresh paper at the end of the line instead of wrapping in the paper that had sat on crumbs. Altogether I was impressed! At most locations I have to correct things as I go down the line, but the two staff who interacted with me here seemed very well trained on gf protocols.

They ask if you have an allergy or preference when it comes to the gluten free bread. After stating I have an allergy they cleaned the slicer, the counter, and all of the staff switched gloves. A new employee had accidentally used the mayo knife so they gave me new bread and then they use the squeeze bottle of mayo to prevent cross contamination. Everyone was very friendly, understanding, and aware of how to handle my allergy.

Amazing processes and protocols for safe handling of gluten free sandwiches to avoid cross contact. They explained their protocol to me without me prompting or asking any leading questions, showing me that know how to prevent cross contact.
