Review of Jewel's Bakery & Cafe

I wish I could like this place because they do have good tasting, good looking items, and it is all gluten free. But I've always gotten the feeling that they really aren't very "into" the bakery part time of their business. This was confirmed by a bad customer service experience recently. They make tasty cupcakes, so I wanted to order some for my wedding. I called multiple times and at first was asked to call back later, then was told "I think we don't do custom orders anymore, let me get my manager" and then they took a message and never called me back. Soon after I saw that the custom order form was removed from their website. So I took my business elsewhere.
