Very popular place. Be prepared to wait if you don't make a reservation. The waiter was kinda knowledgable. He was able to tell me that the steak seasoning and the seasonings on the baked potato were gluten free. He wasn't very knowledgable about the dressings so I skipped the salad. The vanilla ice cream and the rainbow sherbet are gluten free. The food was AMAZING!!!!! I had the small top sirloin and never had one as good!!!!

Jocko's is the most visually unappealing restaurant ever. And our group of 10 had to wait 2 hours for our table. Though they didn't have a gluten-free menu, the server knew what it was, and told me the only items that have gluten are the bread and sandwiches. The steaks, seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder and grilled over local live oak, were outrageously HUGE and unequivocally the best I have ever eaten in my life. Dinner comes with a cold iceberg salad w/ canned beets, meat and potato (get the baked potato because there is a shared fryer for the fries and the rice is cooked in broth), beans, garlic bread (obviously avoid--it comes family style in a basket for the whole table), and ice cream with chocolate sauce.

3 stars for the long wait and ugly decor. Five stars for the food. This place is worth the wait, however if you end up waiting in the bar bring some gf crackers because the appetizer menu has NOTHING for celiacs--except well-priced booze. Another plus--our total bill for dinner was $365 for ten people. In Los Angeles that bill would have easily topped $1000!

PS the wine list is minimum but that's ok because corkage is only $5!

Not for celiacs....steaks and bread are on the same grill. High risk of cross contamination.
