I ordered breakfast from here. I had previously heard they have delicious gluten-free bread, so I wanted to try it. I chose the Joe's Club sandwich with chicken, avocado, tomato, and pesto. The bread looks too good to be gluten-free.
If you're in doubt, the gluten-free bread is light while the gluten-containing bread is dark. There’s a 18kr surcharge for the gluten-free bread.
The sandwich came wrapped and marked gluten-free. It was a terrific sandwich. If you're gluten-free, you can also order the acai bowls since the granola contains gluten-free oats.
Juices seem to be gluten free. But for sandwiches, the server told us he is not allowed to NOT GRILL the sandwich on the same grill they use for regular bread sandwiches. So effectively the sandwiches are not gluten free at all. They are essentially contaminated by design. Really makes no sense.
