They list what's gf right on the menu so you don't have to ask for a separate one. Lots of options! Food was so delicious.

So aware of celiac and x-contamination. Very friendly, helpful service . The hostess alerted the chefs and the servers we were celiac. Everyone knew the menu items that were safe. Great dining experience. Lots of options, including 2 or 3 GF desserts.

I LOVE this place! We eat at Joe's all the time and I have never gotten sick. Both my son and I have severe celiacs and are extremely sensitive, but have never had a reaction here. Just mention to the server that you are ordering gf for allergy reasons. One of the chefs has celiacs, so the kitchen is very careful with cross contamination. Highly recommend the shrimp taco plate...they are amazing!!!

Very nice Gluten Free menu-lots of choices including soups, specials, appetizers and desserts. Very tasty menu with Caribbean flavors. We would not hesitate to come again.

Joes is great. One of the chefs is gluten-free so there are many options. Make sure to tell the server you have an allergy. They will work with you on orders.

We stopped here for lunch during a trip to Tahoe. My husband ordered a chicken burrito from the GF menu, but they served us a normal flour burrito. We then sent it back asking for a GF burrito, but what we got was a burrito bowl with a big piece of flour tortilla in it (clearly they simply took out whatever is in that burrito and put that into a bowl)! DEFINITELY NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY!!!

After being stuck in traffic for hours on our way to Tahoe we were starving and took a chance here. So glad we did. Delicious, accommodating and reasonably priced. So nice to be able to dine safely and enjoy it.

Always amazing food and flavor. Safe for those with Gluten allergies too. Nick one of the chefs is Celiac, and works hard to make sure every plate goes out safely! Highly recommended :)

Shrimp tacos were amazing! The server assured me that everything would be ok. She said the sous chef has celiac and is very certain to make sure nothing comes in contact with his food. I will be back!

GF heaven on earth! EXCELLENT GF menu (indeed, almost everything on the regular menu is GF) ... and very excellent food. A fusion of Caribbean and Tex-Mex -- with amazingly creative dishes, including grilled shrimp tacos with creamy remolaud sauce (GF), and made-from-scratch habanero chili sauce on the table (GF). Was told the sous chef has celiac, which made me very confident of the safety here. The slaw which tops all the tacos is to die for, as well as the side of fresh carrots/fresh ginger relish. Totally unique. Not to mention just an incredible waitstaff, very knowledgeable about GF, and a fun ambiance. Open all day/evening (doesn't close after lunch as so many places in Auburn do).

Found this place on way up to Tahoe thanks to find me gf. Really good food. Had chicken curry. Gf beers. Nice vibe. Worried about wait but it's a big place we were seated quickly and food came fast. I'd definitely come back.

Absolutely the best gluten free offerings in Auburn!!! Love their tacos: shrimp, tri-tip, fish and pork ;) Amazing chicken curry! And so much more. Set in a very relaxing vibe. If you love drinks they have a great selection of gluten free beers and other drinks! I highly recommend giving these guys a try!

Everything was delicious, the staff was solicitous and knowledgeable, and even dairy free plus gluten free left me with a bunch of options. Highly recommended!

Food is good and there are lots of gluten free options with a separate GF menu. The best part of all...the sous chef is a celiac. I always feel very safe eating here, the staff always double checks in the kitchen if they can't answer a question.
