This place is always delicious - as long as you're not expecting gf fried food!! 😋 I get the catch of the day, grilled - everything's very tasty!!

They do not have a dedicated fryer. While they were accommodating, I was more than concerned when my plate came out with fries on it after explicitly having a conversation about the fryer being shared so I could not have them. This was extra concerning as we were the only table in the restaurant when we ordered. They assured me they remade my plate, but when it came out my chicken was cold and over cooked. Restaurant smelled musty and moldy, which they were attempting to cover up with a plate of cooked garlic in the window sill...I couldn’t make that one up if I tried. My husband said it smelled like a septic tank meets garlic overload. Food wasn’t worth the price.
Amazing choices. Almost everything on the menu can be made GF and staff is very knowledgeable.

Very knowledgeable on gluten free items. Food was great. We had steak salad and chicken caprese minus the bread.
Nice restaurant. You can eat indoors or out. My husband and I have the shrimp and grits as creme brûlée for dessert. The waiter was kind and seemed familiar with GF. Waiter gave other GF options, but the shrimp and grits are their signature item.

I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had the pork chop--then we shared. Both were delicious. I'm very sensitive but no adverse reaction. Highly recommend.

Every time I'm on Amelia Island, I dine several times at Joe's Bistro. Most of the servers understand my need for a strict gluten-free meal, as does the chef. I have never had a gluten incident from eating here, and the food is wonderful, as is the atmosphere. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Shrimp and Grits (yes, the grits are gfree too) and the Chicken Caprese (served on a bed of lettuce instead of a bun).
