Pros: I got a breakfast burrito and it was so good it made me hungry for more! Salad was excellent that came it. Great place too if you prefer vegan food as well.

Cons: The person who took my order seemed to care very little, however, she may have been having a bad day. She wasn’t rude just wasn’t present.

The cost. Like every place that is “specialty” as well as gluten free always charges more for having less ingredients. Not all their fault but yeah 17 for a breakfast burrito with tofu hurts the wallet.

Dedicated GF. Also vegan and most everything is quite healthy, which may or may not be your thing. But I think the food is great and gives great peace of mind. The cookie dough balls are to die for.

I went here in January 2023 and they were dedicated gluten free. Their website still says they are so I’m not sure why they don’t seem to be listed as such. The food was really good. I split a pizza with a cashew cream white sauce and a quinoa bowl with pita with my mom. The pizza was really good. The crust was thin but not cardboard like and the cream sauce was so good and cheesy that we were shocked it was vegan. And the pita that came with the bowl was really tasty!

I don't know how, but I got sick (gluten reaction specifically) after eating here. Since I have hashimotos, any amount of gluten can set off a reaction, so this location may still be safe for celiacs. I had the peach kombucha, burger, and brownie. It could be a supply chain issue or something.

Update: Thinking this was a fluke was a mistake. I'm now two for two on strong gluten reactions from this place. Joi is DEFINITELY NOT gluten free!

Easily the best experience I’ve ever had a restaurant since being diagnosed. I had the avocado toast, Caesar salad, and a few of their cinnamon rolls. Vegan isn’t my thing but I enjoyed everything so much and it felt great to not be so cautious and ask a million questions about safety. Highly recommend this place. Lines are always long but so worth it.

Three visits so far. I don’t think I reviewed yet though, fantastic food. My wife, daughter and myself all have enjoyed everything, well the 2.5 year olds opinion is open to interpretation. Dedicated gluten free and none of us have had an adverse reaction. Price is reasonable. Very wide variety of options.

We drove out from Burbank to eat here and it was worth every mile. My celiac kiddo was delighted with all the choices and we left with a pile of leftovers and desserts for the rest of our trip.

I was excited to try this restaurant and really wanted to love it, but just didn't. We ordered takeout online. Our food was ready on time, the restaurant was cute and clean, service was great. I don't usually eat vegan, so that may be why it wasn't a favorite.

We tried the Cheesy Mac & Joi with 'chicken' (the mac was okay, the 'chicken' I'd skip next time), the chips & guacamole (really good, would order again!!), the Chocolate Marshmallow Brownie (soft and gooey, but not to my taste. Tasted like cocoa powder without any sweetener), and the Cookie Dough Bites (okay, but not much flavor). A very kind employee heard it was our first time ordering from here and gave us a complimentary Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Cookie (good!).

Absolutely delicious, everything is gluten free. They have typically forbidden foods like Cesar's salad, baked goods, pasta, pizza, etc, all 100% safe. Want to come here more often.

7/2/21 update: they no longer use latex gloves because of California’s ban on them in food establishments. I had 4 meals here and they were all delicious!! Had 2 salads which were great. But my favorite was the pizza and enchiladas! I would eat here all of the time if I was local! Can’t wait until I’m back!

7/17: This place looked amazing. We so wanted to try the breakfast tacos and enchiladas. However, we have a latex allergy (in addition to gluten and dairy) and they use latex gloves. They touch everything with latex gloves so they thought nothing would be safe for us to try. So, we passed but I did mention to the staff that it would be nice if they used nitrile or vinyl gloves as many people that are gluten free also are allergic to latex. Will check back the next time we go to Westlake!

I eat there often it’s so good. Vegan and GF.

Had the quinoa penne pasta and a garden salad. Delicious - and I was happy the pasta was corn-free. Menu is very varied, plus baked goods and coffee/tea drinks. Staff is very accommodating about checking ingredients. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious, extremely fresh, and surprisingly filling despite seemingly small portion sizes and vegan fare (I am a meat eater). Will definitely be coming back. Glad it's dedicated GF/safe for Celiacs too!
