Fantastic food. Traditional Mexican corn tortillas do fall apart on you, which is what they have here as the gf option. Server was incredibly knowledgeable. They do use a shared fryer for the chips, so avoid those.

Just terrible. I ordered veggie tacos on corn tortillas and they were awful. They don’t even bother warming up the tortillas so they fall apart and it’s like they just threw everything on there. Never again. Worst meal ever. Sent it back.

They were very knowledgeable of gluten free… I always struggle to find something in airports. I got the chicken enchiladas with corn tortillas and they were very bland and crumbly.

This good is NOT worth the money. Tacos were so basic and boring. Margaritas were watery and didn’t taste good.

A 2 1/2 hour layover in the evening brought us to this place. It didn’t look busy at the time but the open tables all had leftover plates and messes on them, suggesting that we had either just missed an extremely busy period or they were extremely understaffed.
It didn’t take long for our waiter to arrive. I asked about the gluten free menu and he asked, “What do you want?” I asked about the chicken tacos with corn tortillas made Mexican style. He never replied and instead wrote it down as taking my order.
My husband ordered the beef tacos and his plate didn’t have any of the pickled red onions for “Mexican style” but mine did. We had asked for waters to drink but they never arrived, and our waiter never came to check on us during our meal. The corn tortillas seemed to have been made fresh that day, but the chicken tasted like it had been made at lunchtime and didn’t have much flavor. My husband said his beef was also gross.
The service was bare minimum and the food was subpar. I imagine that the food could be better if it was made fresh. My tacos cost $17.99 for three (six total tortillas and enough toppings to make that many tacos).
We left full, but not satisfied at all.

They have a limited gluten free menu. I won't pretend it was the greatest meal I ever had, I'd describe it more as adequate. But, airports don't tend to have anywhere with gluten free menus to begin with. If you get it from the to go window it's pretty quick.
I felt fine after my meal.

“Jose Cuervo” does not appear in the name just Tequileria at this location, however, this name is the only option on this app. They have a separate gluten free menu. The chips are not gluten free. I had chicken tacos with toppings. They were very good especially for airport food.

Gluten free menu, had the chicken enchiladas with beans and rice (was not cooked properly) was good but the ONLY restaurant in the airport with GF options.

We went for breakfast so only the breakfast and appetizers were available. Wendy, our server, was great! She verified that there was no dedicated fryer so I couldn't eat the chips. I had the barbacoa and huevos with Pico and corn tortillas. One tortilla was so stiff it wouldn't bend and the other was cracked and shredded. I ate the barbacoa, but the eggs were too watery.

I had the chicken enchiladas as well. Asked to sub the corn tortillas for the flour, and the waitress told me the corn tortillas were terrible. I told her I had celiac and didn’t have a choice, and she understood. Quality of food wasn’t great, but I was thankful to be able to eat something other than potato chips in the airport. Did not get sick either.

Tried to find options at four other restaurants first. Was a bit worried because they don’t have a gluten free menu and nothing is marked. I asked the waitress about the chips and she said that they are prefried and then fries again when they arrive. She then asked are you asking due to Celiacs and I said yes and she was like no you can’t have those but the chicken tacos are good to go. So got those and they were super tasty. It’s been an hour and I’m good to go!

I had the chicken enchiladas, it’s the only gf item they have and I didn’t get sick. Beware though, they initially brought the dish out made with flour tortillas and I noticed it and made them double check, they did remake with corn after and I was fine, I could tell they weren’t corn initially.

Apparently this place is now just called Tequileria. They currently have a “limited menu” and couldn’t find their GF menus. My server told me the only GF option she knew of was the chicken enchiladas (same thing prior reviewers mentioned). Maybe my standards were already set pretty low from the prior reviews and there being virtually no other option in the entire airport, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The meat was juicy and flavorful and the green chili was decent. The refried beans and rice weren’t great, but I was happy to have any option after wandering around all of the concourses searching for a GF option. I’ll probably come back here if I’m in the Charlotte airport again because, most likely, I won’t have any other choices. That being said, it wasn’t bad.

Food is OK, best part was the fries which may or may not been gluten free. Was hungry enough that I was willing to eat it. No gluten free menu, but had corn tortillas available

Ate here during a layover- essentially every restaurant at the Charlotte airport has questionable reviews but this was most promising.
Our server was very accommodating and confirmed that what I ordered (chicken enchiladas with rice and beans) was completely gluten free. It’s served with a cream sauce, cotija cheese crumbles, a salsa verde, spiced chicken and retried beans on the side. The tortillas were white corn and did not seem cooked - no cross contamination there!
I had no reaction. The food was perfect for an airport meal but not great. Avoided the chips and drank water. Menu does not have GF items marked but they do have options.

Chicken enchiladas with Rice and Beans. It’s okay, somewhat spicy. Third time I have had it and no issues.

Place does have a limited GF menu. Food isn’t the best. Been here twice now. Had the chicken enchiladas the first time. It was OK. Just had the taco salad with chicken. It was OK. Nothing amazing but I can’t expect much from CLT.
Tacos are great, I’ve had twice without issues
Separate GF menu. Got the chicken enchiladas, which were good but the corn tortillas were a little dry. No issues though! Got the ultimate margarita, but the chips arent made in a separate fryer so they're contaminated.
Yes
Special gluten free menu. Server asked immediately if I had celiac, and explained that the chips weren’t safe, and what all my options were.
Yes
This was actually surprising! Had the taco salad. Which was good on it's own. I added chicken & unfortunately it tasted as if it had been frozen. But, I don't think I could expect too much more from an airport eatery. I'd certainly eat there again.
Yes
The food was good. Staff knowledgeable about Gluten Free. I got the corn tacos with chicken. I drank a gluten free beer as well. (Also had hard cider and spiked seltzer if you are looking for alcohol with your meal). I was happy to find good food while at the airport. I’ve been eating KIND bars all day.
Has a gf menu. So you are safe. Food is totally bland. Service is abominable. Price isn’t great. Better to go to Chick-fil-A.
Yes
The enchiladas are not that tasty but good enough for a quick stop thru the main terminal. GF menu had nice choices.
Yes
Food was OK. A little bland but not bad.
I safely ate the chicken enchiladas. The service was average, the food was awful, and don’t bother with the queso. It’s cheese powder with a sad attempt at rehydration. If you’re just desperate for a hot lunch without getting glutened (like I was) this will get the job done.
Yes
Pollo Enchiladas with roasted chicken corn tortilla’s green chili sauce is amazing, rice and refried beans. Also have Omission Pale Ale.
They knew the celiac drill pretty well and the food was tasty.
Based on the recommendations I ate here during a layover. I ordered a mexican chopped salad with pork. For an airport, the food was tasty and was a nice portion As others stated, no chips since they are all in a single fryer. I'd rather they take that precaution.
Yes
The chicken enchiladas were good tasting but a little dry. Next time I’ll know to order extra queso dip to help it out.
Came here thanks to the reviews here. Got the enchiladas as recommended. Great filling but light meal. Sat at the bar and several gf menus were quickly accessible and the bartender knew what was up. I'd sit at the bar if you want the best service here.
No complaints!

Located in the main terminal. Great atmosphere, good food. I ordered the chicken enchiladas like everyone else here that left reviews. I also had the rice and beans that came with it. I actually was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. I did not feel it was too spicy like other reviewers here. The bartender was ok, however I did ask for a gluten free menu and she basically took 5 seconds to look and gave up. She did tell me the which items were gluten free - which I half-believed, given that she didn’t produce a menu. Ive been glutened too many times to just believe someone’s word! About 20 mins has passed since I’ve eaten and at the moment I feel fine. If I have any reaction to the chicken enchiladas, rice, and beans, I will change my rating and update this. I will be coming back to this place next time I fly in, given how delicious I thought the meal was. I am also going to post a photo of their menu I found on the internet from 2015 (not sure if it’s still the same or not, given I never got to see their gluten free menu).
They may have a gluten free menu but the drink was watery, my food was cold and the waiter was a jerk. I’m not picky or demanding, pretty easy going actually but I felt the need to warn u off this place. Bill was $28 for just me - really??? Don’t do it...
They have a separate list for gluten free items. Server was knowledgeable and said do not eat the chips because they fry them with cross-contaminated stuff. Definitely a great choice if you are at the airport!
they have a gluten free menu (breakfast too). i was disappointed i couldnt eat the chips, but i got the enchiladas and was stuffed! perfect co.fort food.
This restaurant is in the Charlotte,NC airport. We stumbled upon it on our way from B gates to E gates. They have a gluten free menu available. I had the chicken enchiladas w/no sour cream and the salsa on the side and I was pleasantly surprised. The corn tortillas were fresh, the chicken was moist and the rice was fluffy. There is a little spice to the chicken but not too bad. I was very happy to be able to eat. American Airlines had nothing for me on the plane, unlike United, who serves a special gluten free snack box available for purchase.
Yes
I thought this would be my go to place after Chilis vacated the airport, not so much. After reading the reviews I tried the tacos (3 different trips) I found myself dreading my meal because the food is that, meh
Not bad and not great. Airport food. Server was knowledgable. I also had the chicken enchiladas and they are very spicy. Couldn't have chips and salsa. Wish restaurants would have more dedicated fryers.
Flavorless food. Unfriendly staff.
Yes
Better than eating at a cafe for me. The soup was good (I ordered without the pickled onion). The enchiladas, not so much. The salsa leaves much to be desired, but the chips were tasty. I like them salty. Airport food, so it's pricey for what ya get (the chips and salsa were extra), but not too bad considering the locale. As for being celiac friendly, it's a "Mexican" restaurant, so cross contamination is highly anticipated. If you're sensitive, stick to grabbing something bagged at a cafe or newstand
Server was somewhat knowledgable - had the chicken enchiladas. They were SO SPICY but yummy. Make sure the sides you order are gluten free.
No gluten free menu like it states on website. Waitress rude and not at all helpful. Starving so I took a chance and ordered what hopefully won't hurt me. First day on vacation so this really sucks
No
Es limitado el menu en desayunos. En lo demas esta ok!
Had a very limited GF menu, but at least they had one! Chicken enchiladas were good and spicy. But only gf side were potato wedges; no rice, no beans.... Thought that odd. Other plus was Angry Orchard Cider.
Yes
I decided to try them out as the other reviews were good. Got the chicken soft tacos I corn tortillas. Specifically discussed gluten free. Now I am regretting it. Feeling glutenized. If you have celiac and are very sensitive like me, don't risk it. Go to chili's and get a salad.
No
got my meal at the to go window. Bonita was very helpful and knowledgeable about gf & suggested a salad & potatoes as the sides since the beans & rice were not gf to go with the chicken enchilada. Nice to feel you got a decent gf meal in the airport.
Nice server, who knew about what could be made GF and what couldn't be. They did have a GF menu. Very limited offerings (maybe 5 entrees?), and almost nothing for a GF vegetarian. We are a family of celiacs, and didn't have any cross-contamination issues, but did make me a little nervous. Good if you aren't too picky. Service was pretty fast despite almost every table filled.
Server very knowledgeable about what has gluten. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were good.
My waitress was very knowledgable. Limited but good options. I had the shrimp dish (Camarones al Mojo de Ajo). If I get glutened, I'll follow up with another review!
Other options: chicken tacos, chicken Caesar salad.
Yes
They have a separate GF menu. (Which is rare for CLT airport.(
I ordered the chicken enchiladas. They were real good.
I don't think they are trained on contamination. The bar tender who has beer all over his hands is handling food.
