Server didn’t know what gluten was, but was able to tell me what was gluten free. They have a very spicy vegetarian ramen made with potato noodles that is flavorful. The chef had a list of what I could and could not order. Basically, aside from the veggie ramen, I could order rice and raw fish or vegetables. They had tamari sauce too. I ate there twice with no problem. But gf items are not clearly indicated, & staff did not seem adequately trained, although my first server could tell me immediately that the spicy tuna and any fish eggs were not gf. They probably played it a little too safe on some items, but I’d much rather them be safe than sorry. The sushi was pretty good too, just wish I could have had more options.
Great menu options but a little complicated (a lot of substitutions). Got the vegetarian ramen which came with yam noodles so they kept the texture. Delicious food and good options
There is NO gluten free menu. I was told my server could direct me to the gluten free dishes available. Very little on the menu is actually possible to make Gf. They do have gf soy sauce. Out of the non-sushi items, only three things were possible to be made gf and that was by omitting the teriyaki sauce. So essentially it was plain steak, or chicken or Salmon. So it was a lackluster meal and I’m pretty sure I got mildly glutened, as I felt ill afterwards.
They no longer have a Gluten Free specific menu, but still offers Gluten Free items. The staff is still away and concerned about GF needs. My server knew every item on the menu that was GF and the best item to order. They also still have GF soy sauce. On top of that, food is tasty and service is good.
They have a separate gluten free menu and server was very knowledgeable about the gf items as well. Got the Tuna Tataki which is seared tuna over raw veggies and it was perfectly seared and buttery. Put tamari over it instead of the sauce. Very friendly service and delicious food!
Couldn't find the GF menu online, the staff emailed me a photo! Tasty food, and so far no reaction. The Kale Mustard sauce is a good sub for the wasabi which isn't GF.
I went here for sushi with my family and they took very good care of me. The hostess kept checking on me and double checked my order and let me know if I ordered something I shouldn't. It wasn't marked on the menu, but the staff was very knowledgeable and I didn't get sick. They even have gf soy sauce. I would totally go here again. I am also dairy free and they took care of that too.
Best Japanese Restaurant with a gluten free menu! I have Celiac Sprue, and my wife loves sushi, so when I found out that Kabuki offered a gluten free menu, w3 were there in short order. The food is amazing! Delicious!
Love this place! Staff is friendly, food is great quality and they have a gluten free menu (it's all the way in the back of the regular menu). I highly recommend the kale salad made with gluten free tamari.
so so good with the best sushi prices when coming during happy hour or reverse happy hour at night. I have not gotten sick her after MANY visits just remember to order their gluten free soy sauce and stay away from imitation crab (which is labeled with a k in the menu) as it contains wheat.
