Review of Kaizen Shabu

Get ready to have your jaw on the floor for an hour...WOW. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by our server, who is was incredible. We are both whole food plant based (unprocessed vegan) and I have a nasty gluten allergy; her level of care and attentiveness - to this fact, and in general - was out of this world. The owner was, of course, the same and made us feel so welcome. We shared our experience with the concept of Kaizen and how it changed our lives (seriously, check out One Small Step Can Change Your Life - The Kaizen Way), which had the same effect on him. Both inside and outside are trendy with warm, electric energy, great lighting, and fantastic old-school hip-hop (at least last night). Every single employee was warm and engaged, including with each other (really neat to see this).The food is super fun, but above all hand-slapping delicious (get ready to make a ton of yummy noises). If it’s your first time, ask your server to pick something for you - you will not be sorry. Kaizen family: thank you for the fantastic experience; you definitely have new regulars. ♥
