This is not a reflection on the food or the customer service. Purely a rating on the availability of GF food. I went here based on previous reviews. I met the daughter who has celiacs and she strongly encouraged me not to eat there due to cross contamination. When asked if she would eat there I got a hard “no”. I appreciate their honesty and hope to someday eat there! My non-GF gf had their sushi and it was fantastic!
— Not at all
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— None
— Excellent
I am so happy I found a nearby sushi place that accommodates gluten free. Their sushi is delicious and fresh. It's a family owned restaurant and one of the daughters also has celiac so they are well aware of cross contamination. This is my go to restaurant for sushi!!
Waitress (who is also owner’s daughter) has celiac disease, and gave very thorough and honest explanations of everything on the menu that was and was not safe for me to eat. I cannot have wheat or dairy, and she took extra care to ensure none hit my plate. She did say that the kitchen has a lot of flour flying around, so if you are cross-contamination sensitive, she only recommended ordering from the sushi chef area where no gluten would come into contact. Definitely let your server know you are gf, and they will take care of you.
They are a sushi and cooked food place. The do not have a gluten free menu but the owner has a child that is celiac, so they get it. Most of the cooked food is NOT GF but the staff will gladly explain which sushi rolls are GF. They are happy to help, make sure you tell then you are GF.
