This is a safe place for people with celiacs/gluten allergies to eat. The menu is marked and the staff know about allergy stuff. That being said, this is white person asian food. If you LOVE asian food I wouldn’t go here. For me personally it was very disappointing, everything was off in some way. Even the wasabi was way less strong/potent than it should be. I would not go here again nor would I recommend it to anyone who loves Asian food, especially for the price.

Great place in Flagstaff- many gf items all marked on menu. Sushi was delicious. Good selection of cocktails, wine and even and a gluten free beer.
Knowledgeable staff and nice restaurant space in the downtown area, right on route 66.
Nice to find really good GF sushi and the fried rice was about the best I've ever had. The soy sauce on the table was already GF.
We had a pretty big order between three of us including sharing appetizers. server was knowledgeable and made sure i only used the gf dipping sauces. almost all soy sauce is gf in the restaurant. food was pretty solid lots of choices. i did not get sick! the only thing is there’s a rice lager market gluten free on the drink menu but after confirming with the internet it is NOT gluten free and the server insisted it was but it contains malt and barley.
Soooooooo good. So much of the menu is gluten free. The only sad thing was that the ramen wasn’t.
A go to restaurant for me and my family in Flagstaff! Solid Sushi. Knowledgable staff. Tasty.

Karma is really a dream come true. Tons of GF options clearly marked on the menu, GF soy sauce already on the table, GF teriyaki bowls, I could go on- but really just go, enjoy it!
Good selection. Ordered from Gluten Free options and I had no issues. Wife ordered GF also. She also has shell fish allergy and became quite ill. Had to have been some cross contamination on cutting surface which makes me question a clean GF surface also.

Sushi was pretty good and I didn’t get sick. I had the california roll, spicy yellowtail roll, and spicy lobster roll. We also got the bacon wrapped shrimp.

On the menu, it states that although items are marked gluten free, they are not gluten free unless you ask them to make it gluten free. They have a really nice selection of gf menu choices. Everything is delicious.
I was with 2 others who were not gluten intolerant and we asked for all of the appetizers to be gf so we could all eat everything together. I asked if each dish was gf when it arrived at our table. It was a busy evening. The cook or waitress may have gotten confused or busy, but wowee! did I ever get glutenated!!! I had told the hostess I was celiac, but something went awry. Maybe you might want to call ahead of time and warn them, and/or talk to the manager to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Menu clearly labeled with items that can be made GF. Many options to choose from, the most I’ve seen for a sushi spot. Unique GF rolls, apps, and entrees to choose from. Staff knowledgeable about GF items and take-out order was clearly labeled. Highly recommend!
So easy and so comfortable! Let the waitress know I had a gluten allergy and she marked it down no problem. They are very accommodating and take it seriously! Also great food! Not a wide selection, but a great spot to satisfy your sushi cravings

Awesome sushi, imaginative menu, with lots of GF options and knowledgeable staff. Although not everything was dedicated GF, the staff was on the ball for Celiac and it felt very safe and easy to tell what was GF and what wasn’t.
Incredible location! So many options of drinks and food. There was a bottle of gluten free soy sauce on each table. The easiest eating experience I’ve had at a restaurant.
A lot of gf options. Let your waiter/ waitress know to make that item gf if it has a gf by it.
Best GF experience. Went back several times while vacationing here. All staff is extremely knowledgeable and the rolls are so unique and delicious. One of my best GF experiences
This place is awesome! Lots of gluten free items listed on the menu, gluten free soy sauce at every table and a very knowledgeable staff. Most importantly the food was awesome and I didn’t get sick. Plus, my non gluten free partner really enjoyed it as well. I will definitely be back here next time I’m in flagstaff!

Great sushi and wide selection of gf items on the menu. The staff is very knowledgeable and there is a “celiac” button they press so that the kitchen is aware of the situation. The house soy sauce on every table is marked GF. I loved this place so much that I went twice in three days. I highly recommend for Celiacs.
High celiacs standard and did not have any issue. Large portion of the menu is gluten free with a huge selection. All the soy sauce is gluten free
Ordered takeout and it was a wonderful experience. I asked about gluten free options over the phone and ordered some rolls and friend rice based on the once I was told were gluten free or could be made gluten free. I will definitely eat here again. Great options for sharing with a group also.
Fried rice is GF, miso soup is also, most of their rolls are too and the ones that aren't can be modified to gluten free. Delicious and knowledgeable.

Felt very celiac safe and no illness after the gf bento box for lunch. Great portions and variety. Knowledgeable about gf. Convenient Public parking near by.
Our server was very knowledgeable about gf requirements for celiac. They have gf soy sauce in bottles at the sushi bar. The server caught the fact that the sushi chef provided us with complimentary fresh wasabi, which turned out not to be gf. The chef offered immediate apologies. The executive chef took the time to explain his understanding that the fresh wasabi contained less than 2% of gluten. Having eaten only a very small amount, I did not get sick from it. Otherwise, the sushi was very good. The server was excellent. I recommend this restaurant. Just don’t eat the fresh wasabi!
This was the best sushi I had ever had! I got the Kaibab roll and it was AMAZING! Usually sushi places have to do so many substitutions that you end up getting the same bland thing every time (salmon avocado and cucumber seems to be the only thing I can ever get). BUT at this place, the roll I ordered was the roll I got and it was DELISH! I’m a sensitive celiac and didn’t get sick either, so I would highly recommend!!

I sat at the bar and was in proximity to where the sushi was being prepared. Staff had gloves and masks. Server also flagged my order and personally informed chef of my allergy.
I was pleased when the server mentioned that she would customize my sushi order to make it Gf if there was an item I wanted. I ordered 5 different items on the menu, one was customized. They even have Gf soy sauce!! I was very pleased with the quality, size and freshness of the sushi.
I currently travel to different Gf advertised places to try their food. I have a blog etc on each place I try. I would rate karma sushi an 8.5 on a 10 scale and would definitely travel there for this food again.

So glad I tried this place, I’ll be back for sure! Very aware of what is in each roll and how to make them gf. They are not shy on the meat, flavor was wonderful and no reactions!
All offerings clearly marked on the menu. The cucumber salad was excellent and a California roll with real crab made my heart happy. The fried rice was just ok. Maybe an off night with that? The sushi, though, was excellent!
They were very accommodating and the food was great! They only use GF soy sauce so there’s no chance of cross contamination from that...
Excellent choices and clearly marked what was gf. All there soy sauce is gf! Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Kids had edamame and chicken fried rice. No issue for our daughter with celiac after. My wife and I had sushi which was surprisingly excellent. Would definitely go back if we are in Flagstaff again.
I was amazed to discover that Karma only uses gluten free soy sauce and tamari in its dishes. You can be pretty confident that gf menu items really are gf. Just make it a point to tell the server that you are a celiac.
The food was good and I had no problems. Very happy with this choice.
Nice to be able to have soy sauce in a restaurant after 20 years GF! We both had the teriyaki, good but not great (chicken a bit over cooked). Miso soup quite delicious as were the accompaniments to the chicken.
I'm celiac and was mildly glutened from the food here even though I told the waitress about my condition. Maybe an off night?
