On the menu, it states that although items are marked gluten free, they are not gluten free unless you ask them to make it gluten free. They have a really nice selection of gf menu choices. Everything is delicious.

I was with 2 others who were not gluten intolerant and we asked for all of the appetizers to be gf so we could all eat everything together. I asked if each dish was gf when it arrived at our table. It was a busy evening. The cook or waitress may have gotten confused or busy, but wowee! did I ever get glutenated!!! I had told the hostess I was celiac, but something went awry. Maybe you might want to call ahead of time and warn them, and/or talk to the manager to make sure everyone is on the same page.

So easy and so comfortable! Let the waitress know I had a gluten allergy and she marked it down no problem. They are very accommodating and take it seriously! Also great food! Not a wide selection, but a great spot to satisfy your sushi cravings

Incredible location! So many options of drinks and food. There was a bottle of gluten free soy sauce on each table. The easiest eating experience I’ve had at a restaurant.

This place is awesome! Lots of gluten free items listed on the menu, gluten free soy sauce at every table and a very knowledgeable staff. Most importantly the food was awesome and I didn’t get sick. Great sushi and wide selection of gf items on the menu. The staff is very knowledgeable and there is a “celiac” button they press so that the kitchen is aware of the situation. The house soy sauce on every table is marked GF. I loved this place so much that I went twice in three days. I highly recommend for Celiacs.

Ordered takeout and it was a wonderful experience. I asked about gluten free options over the phone and ordered some rolls and friend rice based on the once I was told were gluten free or could be made gluten free. I will definitely eat here again. Great options for sharing with a group also.

Our server was very knowledgeable about gf requirements for celiac. They have gf soy sauce in bottles at the sushi bar. The server caught the fact that the sushi chef provided us with complimentary fresh wasabi, which turned out not to be gf. The chef offered immediate apologies. The executive chef took the time to explain his understanding that the fresh wasabi contained less than 2% of gluten. Having eaten only a very small amount, I did not get sick from it. Otherwise, the sushi was very good. The server was excellent. I recommend this restaurant. Just don’t eat the fresh wasabi!

This was the best sushi I had ever had! I got the Kaibab roll and it was AMAZING! Usually sushi places have to do so many substitutions that you end up getting the same bland thing every time (salmon avocado and cucumber seems to be the only thing I can ever get). BUT at this place, the roll I ordered was the roll I got and it was DELISH! I’m a sensitive celiac and didn’t get sick either, so I would highly recommend!!

I sat at the bar and was in proximity to where the sushi was being prepared. Staff had gloves and masks. Server also flagged my order and personally informed chef of my allergy.

I was pleased when the server mentioned that she would customize my sushi order to make it Gf if there was an item I wanted. I ordered 5 different items on the menu, one was customized. They even have Gf soy sauce!! I was very pleased with the quality, size and freshness of the sushi.

I currently travel to different Gf advertised places to try their food. I have a blog etc on each place I try. I would rate karma sushi an 8.5 on a 10 scale and would definitely travel there for this food again.

So glad I tried this place, I’ll be back for sure! Very aware of what is in each roll and how to make them gf. They are not shy on the meat, flavor was wonderful and no reactions!

Excellent choices and clearly marked what was gf. All there soy sauce is gf! Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Kids had edamame and chicken fried rice. No issue for our daughter with celiac after. My wife and I had sushi which was surprisingly excellent. Would definitely go back if we are in Flagstaff again.

I was amazed to discover that Karma only uses gluten free soy sauce and tamari in its dishes. You can be pretty confident that gf menu items really are gf. Just make it a point to tell the server that you are a celiac.

The food was good and I had no problems. Very happy with this choice.

Nice to be able to have soy sauce in a restaurant after 20 years GF! We both had the teriyaki, good but not great (chicken a bit over cooked). Miso soup quite delicious as were the accompaniments to the chicken.

This was such a great place to eat Sushi when having a Gluten sensitivity! The staff was very knowledgeable of what was free of gluten and the menu was overwhelming with gf labels by almost everything. They had the soy sauce, California rolls with real crab meat (making this free of gluten) do not eat imitation crab meat as this will have traces of wheat/gluten protein and I was able to eat Miso soup along with the Oysters naturally! I was NOT sick or fall ill the next day with any issues of cross contamination etc. and super happy to have been able to eat Sushi again knowing that this place is SAFE!

I was so happy that they had so many options they were able to make gluten free and even have GF soy sauce(tamari) on the tables. My husband and I love sushi but are so limited now that gluten makes me sick. I felt fine after eating here!

What a fabulous GF find!!!! Our waitress has celiac and was super knowledgeable about the menu and how they make the sauces. Might be the BEST Teriyaki sauce I've ever tasted and completely GF. My 4yo loved her gf chicken and rice meal and my husband and I had super yummy fresh oysters and GF sushi rolls. Definitely coming back.
