Although the food seems very fresh and tasty, it is not 100% gluten-free. I suspect the gravy/sauces. I was sick for 3 days after. My son also has celiac, and he to was sick. If you have celiac, This is not the place for you. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I'm also tired of breaking out in blisters and getting sick, after restaurants say they are GF when they are not.
Food was quick, easy, and delicious, as well as very affordable for NYC. The employees were SO nice, and very helpful. We were there during the solar eclipse and there were no glasses to be had, but when one of the employees overheard my daughter and I talking about that they brought us glasses and offered to watch our food while we ran out to watch. Highly recommend for both food and service.
Perfect for what it is. Fast casual. A few nice base and protein options with very tasty curry sauces to individualize your choices. We came at a quiet hour and they let me taste the 4 curries to pick my favorite (Panang). The staff was kind, portions generous and fresh. You can tell that they are trying to make tasty, fun and fast food that works for the food sensitive community.
Indeed this is a dedicated gluten free restaurant. Counter service meals that are ideal for a quick lunch. We had delicious curries with plenty of side dish options. Some curries are very spicy! A number of tables are available for eat-in convenience. We hope to come back!
Fantastic, and you can eat anything here! Food was very tasty, staff went out of their way to be helpful, and there are plenty of options without being overly complex. I thought the portions were pretty healthy- I had steak and saw someone’s salmon ahead of me and thought it was generous. The green curry (2 chilies out of 5 I think) is delicious but did build and turn out to be surprisingly spicy as I was warned even though I tried the sample of it that I was offered (for reference, I love some heat, BUT I am white). Definitely think about how the heat will build up so you can enjoy the second half of your meal. I was advised to get half green and half Penang, and I did end up being glad I took them up on that. The mashed potatoes are great and the slaw was cool and refreshing. The teas we got were both really good- to me, drinks besides water always feel like a splurge, but I definitely felt they were worth it. I would definitely go back here and recommend it to others, celiac or not.
Amazing food! We are GLUTEN FREE (Celiac disease, highly sensitive), SOY FREE and DAIRY FREE. The facility was fully gluten free and almost everything (minus a few menu items) were dairy free and legume free, including soy. Staff very knowledgeable about allergies.
Food was delicious. Every gluten-free person in the area should check this place out!!
We were stranded without any dining options after trying to find another GF restaurant that was closed and finding the other local restaurants reservation-only. We took a bet and walked to this place and we are so glad we did.
