I went to small fries, then have only gluten free items. You can get chicken with fries or Buffalo chicken with fries, the Buffalo is franks red hot and are very spicy. They also offer drinks, and cheese sauce.

My son had the chicken and fries. He is super sensitive to cross contamination. But despite their disclaimer of no guarantee he did not get sick and said it tasted pretty good

We had a great experience at Kennywood! We visited Small Fry in Lost Kennywood for lunch as they're the only dedicated GF food stand. The chicken fingers were awesome and so we're the fries. For a treat we went to Rita's Italian Ice ( we're dairy free too). The worker was so helpful. When I asked about GF and dairy free options she brought out an allergen list for every item they had and allowed me to read through it before ordering.
Small Fry stand in Lost Kennywood has a dedicated food stand for Gluten free
GF fries are a rare commodity and Potato Patch fries are always a treat. I wish there were more GF options for vegetarians though. I definitely feel that the GF food list that they provide are simply the options that happen to be GF (i.e., they did not go out of their way to come up with new GF items). It wouldn't be that difficult to add a GF pizza.
UPDATE (2017)
The GF list handed out by customer service has not been updated for this year (see photos) and does not include the new GF options available at Snack-a-Saurus in kiddieland, from Beansprouts (see beansprouts.com). Options include child and adult sandwiches on GF bread (Grilledzilla grilled cheese, Do-Re-For-Me sunflower butter and jam, etc.) and GF veggie tots. (Surprisingly, this stand also serves decent espresso drinks. ) I'm wondering how my 13 year old son is going to convince his band friends that they need to visit kiddieland so he can get a sandwich, but I'm grateful for the additional food options!
UPDATE (2018)
The website states that Small Fry is a 100% GF stand. I contacted Kennywood and they are working to get their allergen list online. They provided an electronic copy to me and it is still missing the Snack-a-Saurus items. The supervisor at Snack-a-Saurus (also known as BeanSprouts) wearing a lime green shirt is trained on serving the GF menu items there.
My husband and son both have celiac disease. My husband grew up going to Kennywood and was really excited that the Potatoe Patch fries and sauce were GF! We also found a "hidden gem" in the BBQ. Better than normal Amusement park food and the owner was very knowledgeable regarding GF. Also loved the soft serve ice cream. Kudos to Kennywood for providing a FUN and SAFE day for my family!!

Potato patch fries, excellent gf option. Did not get sick
Kennywood has a gluten free information sheet at the guest services desk at the entrance. This was extremely helpful to us and was enough to keep my daughter fed. I recommend the fries at the potato patch and the dole ice cream at the pagoda.
Visited Kennywood Amusement Park this week and followed the gluten free allergens list I picked up from guest services. I did not get sick! 😄
