King of Falafel & Shawarma

This review is specifically for the king of falafal and shawarma food truck- after having eaten here once without getting sick, I bought the falafal mix from them, it was labeled gluten free. Both times I made the falafal I got glutened. Not sure if it was a bad batch or what, but nothing else I ate that day was new so it must have been this mix.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

DO NOT EAT HERE. I saw the reviews and felt really good about grabbing a quick dinner but about 10 minutes after eating it I felt so off and then later that night I was throwing up, a sure sign of gluten.

This place is tremendous! The people working there are in very high spirits and very accommodating of my celiac. I also got to taste a piece of falafel while I waited. Delicious. The food was fantastic fresh and very reasonable. Can’t wait to go back

Best falafel I've ever had! I got the falafel platter and it was incredible - no substitutions necessary for it to be gluten free. Everything is gluten free except for pita bread. Dedicated fryer for falafel, and they even give you a falafel while wait!

My girlfriend (who has celiac) has gotten the chicken and falafel plate multiple times and hasn't gotten sick. She says it was pretty good.

I've lived in the neighborhood for several years and have eaten here more times than I'd like to admit and have never ever been glutened. I'm quite sensitive and can't do shared fryers or shared surface. My worst issues is eating all of the platter and feeling like I would bust. The falafel is celiac safe and absolutely the best. They even offer you a free falafel while you wait.

No idea what all of these negative reviews are about. This spot is the MOST friendly spot. My sister in law (a minority for the person calling them a racist) went in today to by some of the falafel mix and the were out. She's leaving today and they offered to not only mail it to her but also threw in a bag for free!
