Review of Kingfish

I had a horrible gluten reaction. I called ahead, and they guaranteed me they would prepare my food with no cross-contamination problems, and they said all the right things. When I ordered, they re-affirmed they were on top of it, but when my food came, there were fried pork rinds around the plate (not in the menu description), so I asked if they had a dedicated fryer, and they said, “well no, but technically the pork rind underneath the fried part is gluten free.” I obviously didn’t eat those, but I still had a bad reaction to what I did eat. They have no clue about Celiac’s or cross-contamination. Don’t go if you are sensitive to gluten at all.
