Went in hopeful because of the reviews here, but there was no indication of what is or could be GF on the menu. And when I told the server I have a gluten allergy, he told me they couldn’t guarantee no cross-contamination, everything is made on the same surface and cut with the same knives, and I probably shouldn’t eat there if I have Celiac. Not very accommodating at all, unfortunately.

They were very knowledgeable when it came to gluten free. We even went back a second time. The server told me what was safe and they have Tamari for anyone GF. The chef even made me bluefin tuna hand rolls on the house.

Service was very kind and took my gluten allergy seriously (I always tell restaurants I have a gluten allergy as that is their language!).
My server pointed out all the gluten free options on the menu (some sushi, sashimi).
Tempura is available but this needs to be ordered 1-2 hours in advance to allow them to fry in a separate fryer.
Gluten free soy sauce is available.
I ordered the fancy lady sushi roll and my partner ordered the salmon sushi roll (both are gluten free). Green salad (dressing is gluten free)
I made sure to request my meal was made separately and away from fried foods and soy. My server communicated that to the kitchen.
Overall nice experience and delicious sushi.
I'd recommend communicating everything you need, always!
