Definitely not safe. I ordered from the gluten free menu - a Cobb salad. When I placed the order, I said “gluten free Cobb salad.” The salad had croutons on it. When I complained, their response was “well, you didn’t say no croutons.” I said, “I said gluten free. Why would you put bread on the salad?” When I asked them to remake the salad, I kept the original one with me because I suspected their plan was to just pick the croutons off the salad. Sure enough, I heard the host say to the kitchen, “she wants you to make a NEW salad.” The woman was rude and she didn’t apologize. I didn’t expect a fantastic meal - but I did expect a serviceable meal since I ordered a basic salad from the gluten free menu. If you aren’t going to train your employees that croutons are made from wheat, you shouldn’t have a gluten free menu.
