Long wait to get seated, but the server said they can make ANYTHING on the menu gluten free. I had a hot chicken sandwich with no problems and it was delicious.

My celiac husband was able to get Eggs Benedict on a GF biscuit. Had other gluten free offerings as well. He did not get sick.

They have gluten free biscuits and gravy!! And it was delicious!! No reaction after! The sever was very knowledgeable about allergies and made me feel comfortable. Her name was Kay and she was awesome. I bragged to the Chef and he was willing to share his recipe with me! Awesome experience. Most everything was gluten free or could be made gluten free. We went on a Saturday and it was busy so go early. Or wait. It was just about 45 minutes though.

I came to Kitchen Notes for brunch, as i saw they had gluten free options. I asked for a gluten free menu and was told confidently that the whole menu except fried chicken could be made gluten free. I felt comfortable ordering and eating the food given as the waitstaff was extremely confident in their responses and handling of my food. I expressed my gratitude and how much i enjoyed the meal, and the chef who’s wife has celiac, said that he tries to make gluten free taste good, and because he knows the severity, works to ensure that the food is safe to eat. 10000% recommend for anyone looking for good gf. My boyfriend has no dietary restrictions and said it was some of the best food as well!

Menu does not really call out anything gluten free in particular. I used previous reviews to see what I would be able to order.
Staff was knowledgeable and able to accommodate my choices for gluten free.
Ordered the waffles and biscuits. Tasty and the waffles were literally clouds, so soft and fluffy.

Soooo delicious!!! GF biscuits were to die for! The GF waffles were also excellent. They also have GF pancakes and toast and almost everything on the menu can be made GF. Service was wonderful.

The waiter said 100% of the menu can be made GF. Music to my ears. The GF biscuits were amazing. I also enjoyed the Brussel sprouts with beats.

This place is a gold mine of delicious GF food. Best meal I've had in Nashville.
Waitstaff was extremely knowledgeable about celiac. She walked me through their cross contamination policies and pointed out the one or two unsafe items on the menu. I was told the chef's wife is also celiac and he wanted to ensure she could walk in and eat almost anything on the menu.
When I ordered the GF waffles, I was informed that the GF waffles would come out as four round discs instead of one large waffle and that's how I could be sure it was GF (just in case someone else delivered the plate).
Most of all, I was treated with kindness and understanding. I never felt like a burden or an overly picky guest.
If you're in town, give this place a try! Yum!

Came here for breakfast and my goodness it was good!! I had a gf biscuit with my eggs and bacon. I asked for some butter and jam for the biscuit and it was super yummy! I didn’t try any other gf items like pancakes or waffles.

Best shrimp and grits I have ever had! I came for the GF waffles after reading the reviews, but showed up at 1030 and was too late for breakfast. We waited until 11 for the lunch seating and we were very glad that we did. Lots of gluten free lunch options. My husband said the NON-GF fried chicken and chicken hash were the best he has had!

They don’t have a gluten-free menu, but servers are knowledgeable about gluten-free options. They have biscuits, waffles, and pancakes that can be ordered gluten-free from the kitchen. Also, if you feel safe eating from the buffet, they have gluten-free options marked. I had the GF biscuit, two eggs, a side of fresh fruit, and bacon. I hope to come back to try the waffles.

Excellent selection of gluten free food options that are safe for Celiac. The food tastes amazing which is a plus. I believe the managers wife had celiac so the menu is inspired by what is safe for this with this disease. Our server was very knowledgeable. Make a reservation! Fills up fast!

We ate here yesterday for breakfast and brunch today and my wife loved the GF waffles today and the avocado toast yesterday. The service was fast and attentive and the waitresses were GF knowledgeable and accommodating. I had the burger and the club which were not gluten free but were delicious. We would absolutely recommend Kitchen Notes!

I tried this place yesterday. My server knew nothig about gluten or needing gluten free. I asked him to talk with the kitchen staff and mark allergy. I explained the best I could but there was a small language barrier. I had the prime rib hash which was really good and savory. As far as the biscuits go, it tasted to me like they were made with corn meal. My biscuit looked nothing like the biscuits in the photos here. In fact, the pictures in this app look like my husbands regular biscuit that came with his meal. We compared mine and his and mine was more yellow and tasted almost similar to a corn muffin. I would tread with caution when eating here is you have Celiac like I do.

Had an incredible brunch at Kitchen Notes! Everything on the menu can be made GF!!! They have GF biscuits but I was disappointed to find that they were very dry and crumbly. It was a novelty to even have GF biscuits so I didn’t fault them for that! I had the patty melt which was so delicious but very very salty! There is a dedicated fryer so I was able to have fries on the side as well. Our server, Hanna, was so so kind and we had an overall great meal. The restaurant is beautiful inside and it’s convenient location in the Omni hotel made it the perfect spot for a pre-flight meal (we stored our luggage with the bell hop during our meal!).

It was an amazing breakfast. The chef’s wife has celiac so he’s very aware of contamination issues. The hostess had them put gluten free biscuits in the oven for me while we waited for our table. I had biscuits and gravy…first time in years!!!!

Our server was fantastic and knew exactly what was safe and not safe for me. I ordered an egg sandwich on their GF biscuit and it was really good! I also got the breakfast potatoes which were fried, so the oil in the fryer had to be changed before they made mine, but it worked out fine and I didn’t get sick.

My son has celiac. Very accommodating. We ordered off the menu per recommendation of waiter due to my son's high sensitivity to cross contamination.

Update new visit 09/28/19: Still stand by this amazing find! Absolutely love it here. Although the menu doesn’t indicate anything about GF items the wait staff are great at explaining that basically everything can be made safely with some minor exceptions. I ordered a biscuit basket, a side of bacon and a single egg plus a side of goat cheese to make my own GF breakfast biscuit and boy it was fantastic! Being able to eat biscuits and jam outside of my own home is worth every penny. I do need to add a caution, I ordered a JD on rocks which was brought out with a paper straw in it. I explained that with the new push for paper straws it’s come out some use gluten as a binding agent so would be unsafe for Celiacs. The server was gracious, got me a new drink and a few seconds later the manager came over. She thanked me for bringing that possible concern to their attention and was going to contact their exact supplier to verify if GF or not so they could A ensure other patrons safety while using what’s on site already and B if not GF order from a supplier who is! What an amazing find! Our server Kevin was great and very knowledgeable about Celiac. The menu is not labeled for gluten free items however there are plenty of options. They even brought gluten free biscuits with jam to my table! I had the frittata which was so yummy. My bf who is not celiac has the breakfast hash and said it was really good too. The kitchen seems to have a really good understanding of celiac needs so I would absolutely recommend you try this place out while in town!

They use Udi bread for sandwiches which is good. They said they had GF biscuits and I asked what flour they used. They said WhiteLily Flour - I looked it up and it said it was made with soft summer wheat which had lower gluten - decided not to eat it.
I was delighted to have gluten free muffins (chocolate chocolate chip and blueberry) and gluten free biscuits. The biscuits were, as other reviews indicate, not the best but apparently the gluten filled ones weren’t the best either. The muffins were fabulous. Had eggs cooked to order on the buffet line with sausage and bacon from the line too. Meant to grab a banana but forgot! Had to ask for biscuits 2x but they came eventually with a fresh plate of butter and jellies. Happy Day!
Yes
Had the buffet- our very sweet server Albert had celiac so he knew everything that was safe for us to eat. Incredible GF biscuits!
Yes
GF biscuits are delicious. They had two types of GF muffins as well. Highly recommend for breakfast.
Really amazing biscuits and muffins.
A little touristy (in hotel) and not as many GF dishes available on menu as would’ve wished. GF biscuits were on dry side.
Made breakfast perfectly, substituted fruit for potatoes and brought gluten free biscuits unsolicited. Server was excellent and friendly. Safe place for celiacs!!
Great experience! Chef came out and explained how the food would be prepared. I ordered a biscuit, and he cleaned everything before preparing my food. I will definitely go back! Super accommodating, and it was clear that they understood GF.

Breakfast was delicious. Gluten free biscuits with butter and jelly was awesome. The restaurant is inside the Omni Hotel.
Staff is well trained and kitchen is accommodating. GF biscuits were delish!
It has been YEARSSSS since I’ve been able to go to a restaurant and have a breakfast biscuit sandwich. For that alone, Kitchen Notes deserves 5 stars. Even better, the breakfast biscuit sandwiches were delicious at a reasonable price!
Yes
Server was extremely knowledge and the biscuits with jam were pretty good with breakfast.
Yes
Most of the breakfast options are eggs. The only exception aside from yogurt was lox & cream cheese served with a GF biscuit which was AMAZING!!
The waiter was very aware of my celiac needs and he made sure to take my written instructions to the chef. The chef came out talked to me and said he caters to celiacs all the time. I had no reaction and enjoyed my gluten free biscuit egg and sausage sandwich. I had no gluten reaction.
Yes
I liked it. The GF biscuit wasn’t AS fabulous as I had hoped given previous reviews but it was good. I also had a made to order omelet and some sausage. I would come back.
Staff was knowledgeable and while they didn’t have a separate gluten free menu, they could adjust many items as needed. And, amazing gluten free biscuits that come with your meal - with separate butter and jelly (had no trouble with them afterwards and tested as gluten free with my Nima).
Yes
Amazing staff and atmosphere. Can make gluten free biscuits and gravy if you ask.
Yes
the gf biscuits! amazing! ....you can get the gf biscuits at the breakfast buffet as well....bkfst was so good that I ordered gf lunch turkey sandwich to go. yum! very accomodating...will be back
Just had to try when I heard about the GF biscuits and gravy! It was amazing! Biscuits were fluffy and the chef made GF gravy fresh per order. They also had a whole cart full of GF parstries and muffins. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent option for GF diners.
The gluten free biscuits were wonderful and service was great!
Yes
Friendly and helpful staff but food was cold and not good at all
Gluten free biscuits that taste like biscuits. boom.

Our server Gary was very knowledgeable and the food was excellent. I had the gf biscuit and it was so good it is hard to believe it was gf. Definitely will eat there again.
the chef came to our table and asked if I would like him to prepare gf sausage gravy to go with the gf biscuits. the manager served coconut cream cake because the desserts were not as gluten friendly on the buffet. also had gf french toast prepared for me. it was definitely a great experience and worth the price!
