The person who served me asked about allergies, understood celiac, and told me that he would prepare the gf food with fresh gloves and taking care to ensure no cross contamination. Only the pita and wraps have gluten, most stuff is gluten freel

The previous review stating there is no dedicated fryer is not accurate; I spoke with the owner who assured me their fryer is 100% gluten free. She noted they pay extra to have their own fryer (this is in a food-court style shared restaurant space) and they only fry two items: falafel and vegan kofta, both of which are gluten free. It was incredibly refreshing to speak to someone so kind, patient and accommodating - a rarity when asking the usual laundry list of gluten-related questions!
Most of the menu is gluten free and everything is clearly marked - just avoid pita chips, wraps and two desserts. Highly recommend the falafel salad and vegan chicken shawarma!

NO DEDICATED FRYER They changed their menu and when I inquired they said they shared the entire kitchen space (it’s a food court style place) and that it was not safe for celiacs.

Excellent authentic casual Egyptian food. Lots of delicious choices for customized bowls and salads. The koshary (we had lentils and quinoa) and falafel salad combo was great. It’s even vegan and gluten-free! The proprietor and chef is Egyptian herself. This is more of a food stall in a warehouse-type small food hall. If others in your group prefer Indian food, ice cream, coffee, or bubble tea there are stalls for that too. Lots of free parking.
