The manager said that gluten is in most of their food and seasonings. He said that he could make some boiled shrimp with no seasoning. No thank you.
This is a restaurant that specializes in fried food, so be smart. Obviously, crumbs can be everywhere and there are no safe fried items. Unless a restaurant is 100 percent gf, I’d never trust the fryer. I had the steamed shrimp basket with boiled potatoes and corn on the cob with no seasoning and no butter (it’s not actual butter) and didn’t have a reaction. If you have celiac, just plan on eating the basics. It was good.

Was told that their fries were cooked in a separate fryer but got sick after eating there. When I questioned the manager about it later, he said there can be cross contamination with fries because cooks sometimes throw floured items into the designated fryer. I said that waitresses shouldn't tell patrons that there is a designated fryer for fries because people will get sick. He didn't seem to care that I got sick He didn't even apologize to me. The grilled or steamed items haven't caused me a problem.
Love this place. Several items to choose from. Loved the pick three with grilled shrimp, mahi, and crab claws. Also love the gluten free ranch!!!! Big hit thank you and can’t wait to return.
