We went for happy hour and the drinks were great but all the food was pre made. Grill not safe for GF.

LaCo has GF options clearly marked on their menu. The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. As someone w a gluten intolerance, this place left me full and with no problems at ALL!! Would definitely recommend!!

They have a number of items marked clearly gluten free, but they don’t have a shared fryer - so the chips are cross-contaminated. Good option, but just ok on safety.

If you can only go to one resteraunt in 30A go here. My husband is intolerant and loves meat. I am a picky vegan celiac. This resteraunt was a great fit for both of us. We shared a salsa trio. I had the sweet potato and brussel sprouts bowl that was one of the tastiest meals I have eaten. My husband had a lobster taco , a shrimp taco and beef taco. All were yummy but he liked the lobster taco the best.

Had to talk to several staff at the same time to confirm was gf labeled menu items were celiac safe, because I got several different answers from host and waiter. Chips ARE NOT gf, so all salsa and queso appetizers are not actually gf like the menu says. Ordered shrimp ceviche. Really delicious. Still a disappointing and misleading menu overall.

I ate here and did not have a reaction. I had chips, salsa, queso, and a lobster taco. I do believe the ownership changed- almost everything is naturally GF and marked on the menu. Oh- and the food was good.

They took my gluten allergy very seriously. They brought me fresh corn tortillas to dip and the queso because I could not have the corn chips. I got the lobster and the fish taco and they were both good but I like the lobster one better. My son got the grilled mahi and loved it and he’s a picky eater. The restaurant had great service and the owner and several restaurants in the area plus Brookhaven pub in Memphis Tennessee

Ate here while on vacation. The manager came to the table and asked who was gluten free and if it was for an allergy. She told us she would make sure they used only gluten free ingredients and clean surfaces. We were very please and excited about how knowledgeable she was, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we got VERY sick. Have never gotten this sick since being diagnosed. Not sure what exactly made us sick, since we were promised everything gf, but please be careful! Gave 2 stars because the manager was so helpful, but unfortunately something wasn’t right.

After much confusion from the waitstaff- my son had queso and salsa only (we brought chips). He got gluten, and threw up in the bathroom. This is the first reaction he's had in years, and we eat out all the time. The manager was certain there was no gluten, however I am more certain that there was. Don't chance it!!

other than fish which is also questionable. all other meats have gluten. makes no sense.

My son has celiac and I am gluten sensitive. My son does not have overt symptoms, so we do not always know for sure when he has been glutened...so it is very tricky. The first time we went we were told the chips and salsa were gluten free. I felt very bloated and tired after that meal but thought it was just because I ate too much. we went a second time and at that point, the waiter mentioned something about shared fryers sort of nonchalantly.. which was contrary to what the waitress said the first time. I questioned again...and I was told they share the fryers for the chips and other gluten items. We were specifically told this wasn't the case the first time. It is upsetting how careless they are with people's health. No, my son does not get diarrhea nor will he die on the spot; however gluten (even an extremely small amount) damages his intestine and immune system causing serious long term complications. Very disappointing.

If you're gluten free, order the fish Taco's. The redfin is amazing. Also, if you can find a way to get Jason as your server, you'll be very happy. Great young guy who did an awesome job.
redfish is really good here.
This is not a celiac friendly restaurant. All of the food has gluten. The chips are made in a shared fryer, the salsa has gluten as well. Everything has Jubilee seasoning in it which is not gluten free.

On my first visit I inquired about the gluten free options. On recommendation, I ordered the Vegetarian Enchiladas. I returned each day the three days I was in the area. I also had the chips and salsa. I didn't have any problems after eating. The Enchiladas were made with corn tortillas, and the staff seemed informed and helpful.
