The staff was very experienced with celiacs, there were lots of gluten-free options on the menu and the safety was phenomenal. All gluten-free food is served on an extra plate to avoid cross contamination. I can highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic. I’m very cautious and usually only eat at 100% GF places, but La Costa is so safety conscious. They have been AIC accredited for 8 years. Pizza is made separately and comes on different coloured plates, and they replace the cutlery with seperate packaged ones. So yummy too! Also such a lovely view of the Arena from the outside seating.

Nice spot, very safe. Napkin was in closed packaging. We had pizza, it was good, def not the best, but definitely good. Menu is clearly marked, servers know what’s going on. Overall good experience.

Pizza is made with GF and LF Sourdough bread. It is very good. Lots of cheese on the pizza. I didn't see any GF pasta. There are some other options.

THE BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA EVER. You must go here!! The base was so crispy and had lots of air bubbles. Cooked in a wood fire oven. My mum who isn’t gluten free said it was one of the best pizzas she has ever had (including non-gluten free!). Also can’t leave without a gluten free tiramisu or cheesecake. They also have gluten free lasagne, pasta and risotto options in a separate gluten free area on the menu. You can’t go wrong! Bellissimo!

Very safe. I was given different cutlery and GF bread roll. I ate here twice during our stay. Lasagne and salad were ok. Pizza was good although the mushrooms were not fresh (probably from a can). My husband wasn’t overly impressed with his regular meals when he saw better food and better value at other restaurants.

So safe yes!! They have the AIC certification (celiac safe) so they are very well equipped to understand celiac/allergy/cross contamination. I had an incredible pizza and my husband got a yummy pasta for me to try. They brought out warm Schar GF bread, and even the straw for my cocktail was GF dried pasta lol. Not to mention it’s right beside the arena so you have a beautiful view in Verona! Would def recommend

The restaurant is incredibly aware of cross contamination, even to the point of providing separately cleaned utensils in a sealed container. The service was poor and there is a significant language barrier for English speakers but they make up for it in safety.

Ate here 3 times over my stay, once for each meal (lunch, breakfast, dinner). The pizzas were delicious and they brought out separately packaged silverware when I told them I was celiac. The rissoto di frutti di mari was also fantastic. Breakfast was a bit overpriced for fruit and eggs, but the croissants were tasty and affordable with just a coffee. Would definitely eat here many more times!

I got the Margherita pizza with tomatoes and basil on top, the crust was much better than most GF options in the United States - but the actual pizza was lacking some flavor in my opinion. Right in the heart of the touristy square so lots of people-watching opportunities.

Really liked it. Ordered a Pizza and they gave me separate cutlery and always told me what on the table was gluten free and what not. The pizza was really good, the crust was fluffy but thin and crispy enough in the borders. Also I came around 1am and they still had GF options, which was great! Really recommended ✨✨

Busy tourist area and staff try hard but very distracted. My server was good when I asked lots of questions. I know it gets good reviews but lots of stuff listed GF has contamination. They prepared me amazing pan seared chicken breast,fresh carrots, zucchini and potato and GF bread from Schar.

Great spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were staying in an apartment close by so often stopped in here for breakfast. They did gluten free croissants! We also ate here at dinner and again lots of options for gluten free pasta and pizza. It is coeliac accredited in Italy. Was lovely food and had outdoor heaters, service was okay, although they seemed a bit reluctant to turn the heaters on when we requested!

Found this place on the FMG app while visiting the Verona Arena. Our celiac daughter ordered a gf pizza, and loved it! The crust was thicker than normal Italian pizza, but delicious. The restaurant offers kids portions, it was perfect.

We arrived here, had to wait and get the over ourselves in order to be able to order. Ordered a lasagna, looked and tasted like one from the supermarket. Don’t recommend it at all for a good food experience. All my companions were disappointed in their meal as well.

Food was okay but not worth the price. Even though it said a choice of gluten free pasta on the menu the waiter said they didn’t do it. Pizza and beer only gluten free, pretty bland and for the price not good enough.

It was a great gf pizza!! My family who eats gluten enjoyed their food a lot!! And I haven't felt aside :) my food was delicious!!! Also the service was very kind. We'll be back!
