This was always one of my favorite celebration places before my celiac diagnosis. Today was my first time eating here gluten-free, and I had no reaction. I called ahead to talk with them and also talked with the server. She was careful to make the cheese GF, and I put some on my plate so my family could dip their bread. For the meat course we did the grill, so gluten wasn’t an issue, and for the chocolate we picked one without gluten ingredients, and the server brought me my own tray of GF dippers. Again I took some chocolate out and put it on my own plate. Not exactly the fondue experience, but that’s not their fault. I don’t have even the slightest feeling that I got glutened. Their chef salad is fabulous and it’s already GF. Highly recommended!

Visited LaFondue for a friend's birthday dinner. I was hesitant to eat any of the cheese fondues, but the waiter assured me they could make them without any gluten ingredients to thicken it and they had a cornstarch they could use that was safe. I reiterated how sick I would be if I ate anything that contained it. They placed the two pots of cheese fondue in front of us and they were great...20 min through our meal the waiter came back and said he hoped I hadn't been eaten the one directly in front of me because it had beer in it. He claimed he had warned us about that (no way we would've ordered it if we had been told that). I was breaking out in hives by the end of the night and sick the whole next day. Be VERY careful eating here!
