I asked about their kitchen practices and they said they cook their arepas on the same surface as items containing wheat. I ordered a rice platter instead and still got sick. The food wasn’t even good. I do not recommend going here.

I ate here recently and got sick due to cross contamination. There was a definite language barrier and I think the workers did not understand what Celiac disease or gluten was. If you are severely allergic, I would not recommend this restaurant.

The arepas are delicious and gluten free! I’ve been eating one arepa a day during my stay here. The are all good but my favorite is the shredded chicken and cheese. I’m going to miss eating them when I go back home.
