Knowledgeable waitstaff, many GF options, though not listed on menu. The paella is delicious.

This is a really friendly neighborhood spot with staff that are extremely knowledgeable about celiac issues and who go out of their way to ensure that all food is safely prepared. There is a selection of about half a dozen different paellas that are all gluten free as well as a wide range of small plates - many of which are gluten free. We even had a choice of gluten-free desserts. The food is simply delicious. Highly recommended!

I have been to La Paella several times and they are very careful to make sure I stay safe.
I have had every one of their paellas (the broth all ingredients they use are gluten-free.)
While the tapas menu does not state what items are gluten-free (yet), the server can tell you what can and can’t be done gluten-free. Any questions and they check with the chef. They also make sure everyone knows to keep everything gluten free in prep.
My favourite tapas are the white asparagus, the garlic chicken, garlic shrimp, the oyster mushrooms (done gf!), and the jamon plate.
The Sangria is also amazing!!
I always feel completely safe, and their service and ambiance is impeccable. Daniel is always my server, so if in doubt, just ask for him, he well-versed in the needs of Celiacs.
For desserts, the flan and almond cake are gluten-free, but I always get the rice pudding. Oh my goodness, it’s good.
