My expectations were low, based on all my other experiences so far in northern Italy, which might have resulted in me giving 4 stars vs 3.5. But I was actually quite pleased with the overall taste of the pizza and the dough. But I only got plain cheese that had a handful of spicy salami pieces so it wasn’t loaded down and the sauce/cheese combo stood out. If I had been staying on Menaggio, I definitely would have eaten here more than once.

Very aware of gluten-intolerance, and had gluten free pizza. They knew exactly which of the toppings was gluten free and which were not. The pizza was not the best we had (both gluten free and regular) but it was good and we had a nice time there.

We were lucky enough to find this place - another one we had done our research for was closed at noon. All pizza (no pasta) are available in gluten free and in case you need dairy free cheese, just ask the staff for it. Gluten free is an additional cost of 2 Euro. For a vegan option just kindly ask the staff to leave the cheese. Some vegetables (mushrooms and german "Artischocken") were canny veggies - but the pizza was delicious. No comparison to supermarket gluten free products. 😉 If you're vegan, you "only" got one pizza to choose from (Vegetariana). For Non-Celiacs: Gluten-Pizza was also a good one.

Both GF pizza and ´normal’ pizza were not very good: dry overcooked dough, canned vegetables on top( 4 stagioni with canned mushrooms and canned artichokes)....the worst i have had in Italy

The staff is really friendly. The GF pizzas are amazing. Best we found in Italy. I don’t think it is a separate GF facility so probably not Celiac friendly. But we came back twice in two days - the kids insisted!!
