La Romana is our favourite place in Bergamo. My daughter is also dairy-free and they can accommodate both 👍. Capatoast just across the road can also do gf and df, so it's a perfect spot for a lunch/snack then some ice cream for our whole family.

They said most flavours were gluten free but that they couldnt guarantee no cross contamination. Nothing was clearly marked gf and the server was unsure of my questions so i went elsewhere this time unfortunately.

A great variety of ice cream flavours including vegan options. They have gluten-free ice cream cones, you just have to ask for them. They are each wrapped individually in plastic so they don’t touch anything that’s not gluten-free. Everything tasted great!
