We really enjoyed this great little restaurant (Washington Ave) for lunch when passing through town. I had the bistec and onions, my spouse had the fried fish (pescado). Very tasty, reasonably priced and no issues with the food.

There is no separate kitchen, but they seemed very familiar with the safety requirements. I would return here.

Ohhh my! Delicious GF fried foods! Madison currently doesn’t have a place for GF/celiac cheese curds so this place is a solid second best. I got a fried cheese that was darn good! Highly recommend.

Family of 5 & we all loved the food! My 11 yr old said it is one of the top 5 meals he has ever had and he is a foodie! They were great with knowing about cross contamination and explained they have a gluten free fryer. We had the yucca fries, coconut chicken, sweet plantains, panbellon, chicken arepas & beef arepas. So delicious I wish we lived closer.

Amazing food! Everything is marked and almost everything is gluten free. Sadly I found out I'm allergic to Bananas, so I didn't get sick here due to gluten, I do recommend this place to celiac I never got sick here due to gluten and their food is incredible! wish I could go back!

SO yummy! Lots of gluten free options and didn’t get sick from it either. I had the Colombian Empanadas, Pabellón, and Quesillo, along with the sugar cane lemonade. Everything was amazing and large portions for the entree, so I had leftovers too. I’ll definitely be back!

We order food from here about once or twice a month. I am very sensitive and have been sick once out of about 20 total times. They were extremely busy that night. They do have a separate fryer and are knowledgeable about celiac. The food is amazing and there are so many options. I remain hopeful that I won’t get sick again and can keep eating here.

The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac/GF and GF items are clearly marked on the regular menu. I was assured that their kitchen is very diligent at preventing cross-contamination- the woman working at the counter once told me they have a lot of celiac customers, so they make sure to be very careful. I have eaten here many times and have never gotten sick and the food is AMAZING.

This is honestly my favorite restaurant in Madison. I love the casual atmosphere and the food is amazing. Having been to Venezuela twice many years ago I can say that the food here is genuine and authentic. The arepas are absolutely delicious. They make a phenomenal cachapa as well. The menu is very clearly marked and the majority of it is gluten free. Please give this place a try and support their amazing restaurant!!
