While other reviews complain about no gluten free fryer, there is a notice in big red letters on their gluten free menu stating that they use shared fryers so there are no surprises. I opted for a salad with grilled chicken and a hot bacon dressing, which was a perfect option for anyone trying to eat gluten free and avoid the fryer.

Echoing what other reviewers have said...I was super excited by their huge GF menu, only to find out they do not have a dedicated gluten-free fryer which greatly reduced the number of options that are actually gluten-free. When I asked the waitress if they had a dedicated fryer she said no, but they "are extremely careful" and "it's as gluten-free as possible." That's not good enough for me so I opted for a meal that wasn't deep-fried, the Chicken Orleans. My meal was absolutely amazing and flavorful but I can't shake the disappointment of all the off-limits, deep-fried items included in the gluten-free menu.

So, I got really excited when they broke out the THREE PAGE GLUTEN FREE MENU - only to find out they have a shared fryer and unable to fry anything separate (fried green tomatoes, chicken fried steak, catfish chips, fried chicken....all on the GF menu and not able to be prepared GF). That being said, super nice wait staff. Still plenty Cajun dishes on the GF menu (jambalaya, dirty rice, red beans and rice, dishes I couldn't hope to guess the spelling on) and their ribs are GF. The food is good and I'll eat there again. It's just frustrating that they have a GF batter but not a fryer.

My hands down favorite place to eat gf!

Amazing! Almost everything is gluten free because they cook with corn oil. Never gotten sick

Not a separate fryer. The fried chicken was amazing, but feeling horrible next day.

Great food and a large gluten free menu! Split the southern BBQ platter with my gluten-eating boyfriend, and had a side of the creamy grits (they were AMAZING!). However, I asked the waitress about the fryer, and she it was a shared fryer. A bit of a bummer but still a lot of options!

Delicious Cajun food. The manager was amazing at advising what I could eat. I had the jambalaya & blackened chicken salad... both were great. Highly recommend!

OMG! So good we went both nights we were in Marquette! James our server was so great with his suggestions! The red beans and rice are delicious on their own but you add the blackened belly and butt...wow! The hubs had a Non GF po boy and said the bread was some of the best he’d had! Many Gluten Free options! You must go here!

Fried in peanut oil, no dedicated fryers. Plenty of other non-fried options. Had the chicken Orleans and dirty rice. Sooo good. Also have a lactose and soy allergy. Chef walked me through the menu. Definitely would eat here again. Food and atmosphere are great!!

Fabulous food! Beware that the GF fried chicken and other deep fried Gf foods share a fryer with non-GF foods. Tons of options that are not fried as well. This is a great option.

Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would avoid anything fried as they advised they do not have dedicated fryers. Had a great salad. I am very sensitive and was not sick afterward.

Lagniappe's breads everything in corn flour, and fries everything in peanut oil, making a lot of options naturally gluten free. Most of their food, if not all is prepared from scratch in their kitchen. The only items that are not gluten free that come to mind are their sandwich breads. They have the best chicken wings, and jambalaya I have ever tasted, both free of gluten and dairy.
