While some allergens are listed on the menu, gluten is not one of them. They list wheat. We found out that there is flour in the air, they bake their own rolls, dip most everything in flour, it’s a shared fryer, bbq sauce has wheat. One of the managers has celiac and he walked us through options. We had steak. Several of the sides are gf.

First of all, the wait time is usually an hour. The restaurant both texted and called me when my table was available. My family chose to walk around Hobby Lobby to pass the time. 😉 The menu clearly identifies 11 different allergens. Plus, the waiter is knowledgeable about food allergies. I enjoyed the black-eyed peas as a pass around. They were delicious!! I had meatloaf, green beans, peaches, and a sweet potato. The food was just average. But!! it is nice that food allergies are clearly labeled. This is a type of restaurant that you go to for the experience. My son, who isn’t gf intolerant, enjoyed catching the rolls.

good food, several gluten free options.
My family are here and followed new menu which listed all items that had wheat in it, there was not a gluten free menu. Both my husband and son had no issues after eating here. Good food and fun to catch rolls even if those with celiac disease could not eat them!
The food was great and our waiter was very knowledgeable. I had hamburger steak with no gravy, green beans and applesauce. I also ate the black eyed peas and potatoes and onions pass arounds. It was delicious, and I did not get sick!
Not sure if it's Celiac friendly but it's definitely doable for a gluten sensitivity. They have a wide variety of foods on their menu. Excellent choice!
They do have some GF options & a dedicated menu. But I wanted the beans & cornbread listed on the GF menu. I told the waitress that I was GF. When she brought my order, I asked again if the cornbread was GF. She went back to the kitchen & returned saying that it was not GF. I questioned whether they could serve GF cornbread since it was on the GF menu. She went back to the kitchen & returned saying that the cornbread was a misprint on the GF menu. I was appalled. How many people have ordered & eaten food that accidentally made it on a GF menu? Please do not trust the GF menu at Lamberts or the wait staff without questioning.
Yes
Delicious Food, Gluten free menu. I give it a 3 star because I got a slight stomach ache and my dermatitis flared up after eating there. I am not sure how good their rules on cross contamination are there. So if you don't have Celiac's go for it. But anyone with a severe gluten intolerance or Celiac's probably won't care for it.

The menu is separate and marked with items that have gluten. The wait staff was very knowledgable on gf food. The food was fabulous. They did not specify the extent of the separation of preparation, but I did not get sick at all from cross contamination.
