No issues with the food safety, but not the best quality, especially for the price. The proteins (shrimp and scallops) were overcooked, the broccoli hard, and nearly impossible to cut, and the rice was plain, tasteless and clumpy. Service was friendly and prompt.
The food was very good. The waiter was somewhat knowledgable, but brought us sour cream for our potato. I asked if the sour cream was gluten free. He gladly asked the chef and it was not. Make certain to double check sides but there is a good selection and my child with celiacs did not have any issues.
The waitress was not great on gf knowledge but within a few minutes of being there the manager and chef both came to the table. They both assured us the proper precautions would be taken. The gf menu was pretty good. Overall our experience was good until the check came. Be sure to bring your wallet.
My wife is gluten intolerant and I made sure to let the waitress know. Less than 5 minutes later the manager came out and asked who was GF. She talked to my wife and ensured her that everything on the GF menu is in fact GF and she would make sure to let the cooks know. My wife ordered grilled salmon and broccoli, which came out good. Overall the restaurant was a 4/5 with great service, but a somewhat limited GF menu. My wife also is hit or miss with shellfish, so only a few options were available....fresh fish was great though.
I'm extremely sensitive. We at dinner rush the last Saturday before Christmas. The restaurant was extremely busy, when I mentioned I had celiac disease, they asked took their time with us, helping me choose what I wanted and safe . The best meal I've had on years from a restaurant. We already have another visit planned.
When I asked my waiter Rob some detailed questions with the food and prep he got the Executive Chef Sean who personally came out to speak with me, make recommendations since I was Celiac , made sure I didn’t have any other food allergens and took my order himself. I had the Redfish, rice and got fresh fruit with it, and fresh lemons for the fish. I will only eat Wild caught fish so it had been many years since I had fish in a restaurant. I loved it! No reactions. The chef also personally brought my meal to me. I won’t say the chef has time to always do this but I felt real heard, understood , pampered and safe, more so than any other place I’ve ever eaten at as celiac. My family and I were all in awe!
