This place was great. Got a rice bowl with chipotle chicken. It had a nice kick to it. When you order they can help you with picking from available GF items.

This place is 100% gluten free. My husband is celiac and was so excited to get to eat everything on the menu. They even had gluten free ipas and pastries!!

Had an allergic reaction here a few days ago. Called and they confirmed that most of their beers are made with wheat malt. If you’re just GF, you might be ok as the beer is only gluten reduced, but if you have a wheat allergy, their beer is not safe. (I’ve had luck with other GR breweries) I also for the life of me can’t understand why they have flour tortillas on their food menu. The lady at the bar said that the owner’s son is celiac so he made a place that is inclusive of his son, but when I asked safety questions, she said that the kitchen is far from wheat free as flour tortillas and bread are made there. Why?! People can eat this everywhere else. Why not make a GF brewery with a GF kitchen?!

Gf tacos on corn tortillas. They were simple but really tasty and well priced. We got breakfast tacos before a conference and would happily go back.

Let the staff know you’re celiac and they’ll help you out. Almost all tacos on corn are gluten free and their beer is less than 20 ppm gluten free. I’m celiac and haven’t gotten sick after a visit. Highly recommend!

Great food and beer. Rice bowls are good and tacos on corn tortillas caused no problems. Morning has flour tortillas but the griddle gets cleaned and the evening tortillas only corn. Torta rolls are kept separate.

All of their excellent beers have a gluten content of less than 20 ppm, plus they have amazing tacos. What else do you need?
Yes
The menu states that every beer has less than 20ppm gluten! Safe (and delicious!) for those that are able to have gluten-reduced beers.
No
All Lazarus beers have the enzyme Brewers’ Clarex used that breaks down gluten to less than 3 ppm. And, all the beer is amazing. Plus, all tacos and other food items are gluten free and tasty. Some of the best Al Pastor tacos I’ve had in Austin.
