Excellent sushi and seaweed salad . The soups are just ok but the Japanese options are first rate. The sushi chef changed his gloves and they were very careful. But a few years ago,I got take out of the seafood noodle soup which was packed separately from the broth, which looked pretty dark. I was afraid that it might have had soy sauce in it, so I called them. They asked the cook and found out that it did. They were very apologetic and said that they could use another broth next time. I had told them to make it gluten free but I don’t think they knew that what was in the broth. I ate there tonight after having knee surgery. Lynn was so kind she even got me a higher chair. Food is excellent and they couldn’t be any nicer. My favorite restaurant in the area
I ate here a few times because of the good reviews here but do not plan to dine here again despite the assurances made by staff. I found a lomein noodle in my meal. You would think that when cooking for someone with an allergy or Celiac, a clean pan would be used. But no, clearly not. I even made sure to order during off hours like 4pm. There was no one around, no phones ringing and my pickup order was the only one on the table. It's just so sad, I really liked being able to have this a few times a year.
The menu is not marked but the waitress was very knowledgeable about what could/couldn’t be GF. She said to pick and they’d make it for me. I had miso soup and ordered the chicken with black bean sauce. After checking with the kitchen, she found that their beans weren’t safe and asked if I wanted to omit them. I went with chicken and broccoli instead.
It was so nice to have Chinese food again! I will absolutely be back.
The service was amazing and I don't think I went to a place and felt more comfortable about eating gluten free then I did when I was there. I had seasme chicken, drunken noodles with shrimp and avocado roll. The seasme chicken was so good and crispy. The noodles were just the right amount of spicy and great flavor. Everything was so good and I don't feel like crap the day after.
I read the great reviews about this place so we decided to get takeout. This was a Saturday night, and busy mostly with takeout orders. The place looked very clean and had pretty decor. The two young women at the front were accommodating but did not understand what eating gluten free meant and one was honest and said so. I was surprised and confused after reading the glowing reviews. I decided to order the Sweet and Sour Shrimp , since someone in the earlier reviews had ordered it and wrote that they were happy. The young woman who took the order went to the cooks in the kitchen to explain my gluten free order. So I appreciate that she did that. My meal was truly delicious, a real plus, and I did not notice any physical problems that weekend. But if this restaurant offers gluten free food, they better educate all the staff. It left me uneasy.
Love their food, staff is very knowledgeable. Downside is they don’t have a specific GF menu or any items marked, you have to ask. That’s ok during dine in, but I often use them for delivery.
We have someone who has Celiac Disease. So many restaurants do not understand cross contamination let alone what gluten even means.
They are very understanding and the woman on the phone takes such good care of us each time by making sure we know what is are and what isn't. She also then makes sure the kitchen staff knows. We keep coming back and do not worry about being safe.
Thank you to this woman (I wish I knew her name) and the staff of Le Dish!!!
Owner was very helpful in providing information. My husband is newly diagnosed celiac so we are learning too. She brought out gf soy sauce from the bottle and poured for us so we could watch her do it. She also told us to come back and she would work in the menu with us so he could have more dishes besides sushi. Very willing to help and learn, especially if you know what to ask for.
