Visited here because I knew they had a gluten-free menu and have eaten at other locations. When I asked the waitress for a gluten-free menu, she told me they didn’t have one and that the only gluten-free items were waffles and English muffins. She didn’t seem to understand that gluten can be in other things. I had to look up the gluten-free menu on my phone. At least I did not get sick.
They only had two gluten free options as far as bread. A gluten free waffle and an English muffin. Our waitress and the cook were not knowledgable as far gluten being in spices they use. I had to ask multiple times to use a dedicated pan that was clean to not cross containing are. Worried I will end up sick.
About a year ago, I would have given 4 or 5 stars. However, they no longer have a gluten free menu, and it is a mixed bag with how knowledgeable the staff is about celiac needs and cross contamination concerns. My favorite thing there were the skillets, and they no longer do the potato’s separate from gluten items, so it is no longer an option. It’s sad, this was a weekly staple, but I haven’t been back in a while and have found better breakfast options in the area.
Ordered the eighteen wheeler and it was fantastic! Some things on their menu that is GF: Waffle Pancakes French Toast BLT I got french toast, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, orange juice and potatoes. Would definitely be back! Very well done.
I told them I had celiac and they offered me a gluten free menu. The waitress did not say much else but I saw a sign that said their gluten free menu was new. I got a potato and egg skillet. I’m not sure if it was prepared properly but the GF English muffin that came with it was awesome!
We showed up mid morning on a Wednesday and the place was packed with a wait. It was a gloried Denny's, typical American diner food but it was good and no one got sick. They had a separate GF menu which was great and lots of options. I had the omelet, potatoes and GF English muffin. Service was good but slow - just super busy. Prices were decent. They had a sign on their door that they are no longer serving dinner, just breakfast and lunch only, FYI. Pretty dining outside with view of lake!
Great breakfast! Gfree pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, omelette and bacon. Server let us know of the 15% discount if you are staying at the Hilton across the parking lot. Highly recommend!!
One of our favorite brunch spots despite being a hike. Dedicated gluten free menu, knowledgeable servers and owners who take extra care to be accommodating. The gf waffle is highly recommended. Worth the trip.
Overall it was a nice little restaurant relaxing atmosphere with delicious gluten free and dairy free options! Unfortunately they took forever on my order and messed up my food...the gluten free sandwich bread is a flatbread I’m guessing it was vegan flavor was good but it was chewy and stale my jaw hurt! It probably wasn’t fresh? Anyways the juicy bacon made up for it I’m giving it another try but I’m ordering something else hopefully I’ll be there earlier in the morning. Anyways glad this place exists!
What amazing attention our group received. Not only did the staff understand GF but they were incredibly supportive when other “unusual” allergens were discussed. The manager came out and let me look at ingredients for multiple items. Oh... the food was DElisious
Waitresses were knowledgeable about what items were gluten free as well as Knowledgeable about cross contamination. They suggested substitutes to help me build a meal to my liking. No GF pancakes but has GF waffles with a dedicated and separated waffle iron.
I'm Celiac and don't take any chances. The manager came over to the table as I was looking at the gluten free menu and assured me the food would be prepared sperate from the food off the regular menu. Very knowledgeable and reassuring.
This is my 3rd time here, last time I was in town we came here 2 days in a row for breakfast. One of their corporate employees has Celiac, and there's a note on the GF menu about how they take every precaution to prevent cross contamination. They have GF French toast and it's delicious!! Everyone is very knowledgeable about everything and they're super nice and accommodating.
After previous visits at the closed College location that were great. This current visit was incredibly disappointing. Minimal help on gluten free options that felt brushed off by multiple staff. I had not been glutened at the College location. There was nothing on the menu listed as gluten free. Questions did not remove any concerns.
I have eaten here a few times now and have never had a problem. I have had their gluten free waffle, which they prepare on a dedicated waffle maker. They seem to be very good about making sure about how their food is prepared. I would definitely recommend the place.
Lots of GF options that taste good!! The waitress was very knowledgeable about Celiac (there are also Celiac people that work there) and said all GF items are prepared and cooked separate from everything else. I had the GF waffle, syrup, eggs, turkey sausage, fruit, and GF English muffin. It was AMAZING and I didn’t get sick!! Wish I could rate this higher
I have had both their gluten free French toast and gluten free waffle. They were both great, but the waffles are to die for. Both with eggs, bacon, and potatoes! Have not gotten sick at all ❤️ Love this place!
They had a separate gluten free menu that had a lot of options and most meals came with a gluten free English muffin. They stated they had separate griddles and skillets. It was celiac safe and delicious .
Look no further in Longmont for a breakfast place!! This restaurant has everything: pancakes French toast, waffles, omelettes, bread, sandwiches, potatoes, sausage, etc. the waffle I had was amazing- I had to check with the kitchen to make sure it was gluten free because it was so good, and it was. The waitress was knowledgeable and service was fast. I’m on vacation and coming back tomorrow. Wish they would open a branch in Washington DC.
I would say for the price, the food is just mediocre. I've had better breakfast at literally every other restaurant I've ever been too, but it is nice being able to order a gluten free version of things I normally can't have.
This is the perfect example of an unsafe space where there seems to be a desire to offer choices on the menu to food sensitive people but the cross contamination alone will take you down. Not really knowledgeable. We said Gluten/Soy/Corn Free and that didn’t go over well. Decided to leave to protect ourselves. Seems like nice enough peeps but we simply can’t risk our well being. I would avoid this restaurant to be safe.
