Can I give negative stars? I was initially thrilled about all of the options and their “gluten promise”. Despite the promise I literally TRIPLE CHECKED with 3 separate servers about my order. After I was reassured I ate my meal and only after a half dozen bites I discovered the orzo in my rice pilaf. Their rice pilaf is not gluten free. I’m not back in our hotel after trying to induce vomiting and awaiting the massive vomiting/migraine storm to hit me. Thank you, Legal Seafoods for destroying the next 3 days of my vacation.

Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about GF options. They have a GF fryer and could modify almost everything on the menu. The GF lobster roll, and sushi were both amazing. We felt 100% safe eating here.

Five stars for yummy food, lots of GF options, and celiac safety! Our waiter was a little frustrating when he announced, “Everything on the menu is gluten free! The batter is gluten free. The fryer is gluten free. Everything on the menu is gluten free.” Clearly this wasn’t true since the menu marks items with a GF symbol (admittedly most of the menu is GF, but not all). If we hadn’t been to other Legal locations previously, this would have made me more nervous, but we had enough confidence in the kitchen to overlook the waiter’s dumb comments. Then when he brought bread for the the gluten eater in our group, he said, “The menu is all gluten free, but the bread is not.” 🙄 He then offered to bring GF bread as well which was fantastic! So, even if you get this misinformed waiter, Legal is still an awesome choice for a safe GF dinner!

What a treasure for celiacs! This is the best restaurant experience I have had as a celiac. Everything fried is GF - this was so surprising and accommodating. I felt very safe and ordered fried calamari, and a lobster roll with fries. I had not been able to have a meal like this since my diagnosis. Food was delicious, staff was the best, and I did not get sick.

I’m celiac. Excellent food and relaxing dinner out on patio. GF roll went well with steamed mussels smd salad. Good choices. Didn’t get sick.

Our server confirmed that the breading for all fried items is gluten free, so all fried foods & french fries are gluten free. The warm gluten free rolls served before our meal were delicious! I felt very safe eating here.

Wow, best meal I have eaten in years! Very celiac knowledgeable and friendly. Several choices clearly marked and the food tasted... amazing! High prices though.

I had the fish and chips. Isn't the same as fish in the UK, not battered but breaded but super tasty and almost like a buttermilk chicken breading with lovely seasoning. Waiters very clued up on gf and cross contamination.

I just had the lobster roll and fries! Delicious!! All of their batter was GF. Also was able to eat the calamari as an app and my non GF husband was also impressed. A little expensive but will definitely visit again! Things are clearly marked and lots of GF options.

Dedicated fryer for GF fried food. I ate at the bar and the bartender was also celiac, he and the manager made sure the kitchen knew I had celiac. Food and drinks were delicious and the staff is very friendly! Will definitely be going back.

All their fried food is gluten free. I had the colossal naked shrimp and it was actually crispy. They also had gf rolls. The waiter, Nick was very knowledgeable about gf and happy to answer any questions.

The staff was very knowledgeable about allergies. They served gluten free rolls, tasted ok. I ordered seared scallops and they were delicious! Everyone in our party was happy with their meals.
