Amazing food and overall experience. We ate outside but the water. Very friendly GF options marked on the menu even fried foods and French fries. First fried shrimp in 15 years and it and the fried fish tasted great! So happy we came here. Other grilled options as well. Thanks!

Ordered gluten free sushi rolls. Noticed the brand of soy sauce wasn't gf and the waiter proactively mentioned this and brought a gf option. Was impressed with their knowledge of detail.

Separate fryer and gf batter and all that. Had fried calamari, oysters, and a scallop entree. They had run out of a bunch of stuff but otherwise good times (expensive obviously)

All of their batter is gluten free so low chance is your food getting cross-contaminated. The manager brings out all gluten free food.

I got gluten free fried fish and chips with fries. It was absolutely amazing. Didn’t get sick at all. This was the most safe I felt eating out at a restaurant.

I would 100% recommend this place!!

Had fish and chips. Son had burger and fries. Both feeling fine hours later. This place is fantastic. Wish I didn't have to drive three states away to eat here. Service and food was excellent.

its called Legal Harborside. Took my 6 year old celiac son there tonight. I'm not sure what glutened him (he had a hamburger on gf bun, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and GF bread brought out before the meal and soft serve ice cream) but he is so sick right now, he was definitely glutened at this place. We will not be back. I wish there was an option to give zero stars.

It's technically considered a chain but I've always had a good experience here. The staff is accommodating and makes you feel comfortable. It's nice to be able to get fish n chips and feel relaxed about it.

My boyfriend tried to take me here for a fancy dinner. He told them at reservation, at check in and upon being seated that we both have a serious gluten allergy. Despite them being told several times they still brought out a big basket of gluten filled bread while carrying the gluten free roll right on top of the gluten filled basket. Needless to say after seeing that I did not feel comfortable at all and left immediately!

I did try and contact legal's "safety manager" about this incident as I had already had an awful experience at legal's on the mystic and she never returned my call!

Amazing Meal- Legal really is the top when it comes to working with food allergic guests- Well prepared food with lots of variety to choose from! GF menu choices are now indicated in the main menu- They even bring out warm gf dinner rolls (made locally by Something Sweet Without Wheat)- Our server was friendly, personable and very helpful-

I was in gluten free heaven! When they brought me gluten free rolls, I knew it was going to be a great meal. I also had the buffalo shrimp appetizer and I had the lobster roll. Such a treat! I wish I lived here!

This restaurant is amazing! I went with a group of friends and we got a table on the rooftop. I told the manager that I have celiac and everything I was served was handled in such a special way. Its all a raw bar on the rooftop, but the sushi was amazing. They did bring one dish for our group to share that wasn't gluten free and were very clear to warn me about it, but also brought me a small plate of my own food so I could eat with my friends. Service like that is rare. I would definitely eat there again!

The BEST gluten free meal I have ever had! They can modify most of their dishes to be GF. They use chick pea breading to make any of the fried or breaded items. They have dedicated fryers for GF meals. I had the buffalo shrimp appetizer. Absolutely delicious! For dinner I had breaded sea scallops and French fries. Also very delicious. The scallops were so tender and the breading very light. They also have the most delicious, soft, GF rolls they buy from a local bakery. My husband who is not GF liked my rolls better than the regular rolls. If you're celiac and in Boston DO NOT miss this restaurant!
