My family loves legal seafoods - just make sure you are very clear with them that you have celiac.
Note: the rice pilaf HAS gluten! The haddock dish with broccoli and rice pilaf has a GF symbol next to it and it shouldn’t!

They had a ton of gluten free options, including the fried items. Also, they will bring you a starter roll if you tell them you’re gluten free.

Excellent place for gluten-free! We had GF rolls, fried calamari, crabcake sliders (not a fan of these but happy to have options), shrimp, fries, coleslaw, and salmon with sweet potato mash and street corn. We were so full we had to skip dessert! So happy to have so many tasty safe options!

Legal Seafoods is AMAZING!!! I got the salmon (with a side of rice and fries), a Sierra Mist, and bonbons (chocolate flavor). Everything was delicious! (Bonbons are hard chocolate shells with ice cream inside. At Legal Seafoods, they have 3 different flavors: chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. Each one comes with a drizzle of the flavor that you picked on top so that you can tell which is which if you order more than one!) Overall, Legal Seafoods definitely deserves 5 stars!

Huge variety on the menu with the classic precautions we’ve come to expect from Legal Seafoods when handling allergies. Gluten free bread, fried foods and delicious dinners in a lovely setting. The bar side feels spacious and lively.

Many menu items are available gluten free. Food was brought out to me separately and I was told it was gluten free at every step.

Staff caring, thoughtful and concerned about Celiac concerns. From the seater, waiter, chef and manager, the experience at Boylston Ave., The Legal was an A+
The manager was requested by myself to go over safety issues for gluten free issues. The chef came out with the entrees which was reassuring. All dedication fryer questions were anzwered.
answered.
The previous beer batter had been removed two months previous. There no complications,no cross contaminations, and I am ultra reactive to gluten dust and airborne gluten. I had no problems and would highly recommend talking to the management should you be Celiac and have read any previous comments from an earlier timeframe.

Not the usual Legal experience. In every other restaurant, a manager has brought my food and confirmed it was gluten-free. Not only was the service terrible here, but they didn’t seem to take Celiacs seriously. I had to ask three times to make sure the dish was safe and staff acted completely annoyed by my concern. I have never had a bad experience at Legal’s, but will never come back to this location.
Legal Seafoods tend to be good with allergies most of the time however this location gave me sweet potatoes spiced with ghost pepper after I told them I cannot do any peppers. Did not have a gluten reaction though, just a problem with the peppers.

Very popular yet expensive restaurant caters to all gluten-free options. Beer rolls all fried food is made with corn flower . This main location has low fat GF clam chowder. They serve one of my favorite gluten-free beers New planet
They brought out warm GF rolls, enough said. Waiter was very knowledgeable and a manager brought out my food to ensure accuracy.
Menu is clearly labeled. Had the fried clams for an appetizer, which were fantastic.

Great selection. Great food. Best options for a 2 year old with celiac in the area. Our go to spot!

My experience here was phenomenal! GF dinner rolls to start (also dairy-free) courtesy of 'Something Sweet without Wheat' bakery in Woburn (an awesome bakery if you haven't checked it out!) I love that Legal branches out in the community to bring in fresh GF products versus frozen breads! Staff is knowledgable and overall would recommend!

Wonder GF warm rolls to start. Among the best GF menus anywhere. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced given the large portions. When in Boston I always stop here to eat.
Great place to eat if you have Celiac. Had great fish and chips! They even brought me to GF rolls!! Staff very knowledgable and manager brought me my food seperate from the other food at my table .
Great options, knowledgable staff, amazing bread!
ate here for lunch and I'm hAving a reaction now at 4pm. I suspect the chips as they were fried.

Gluten free kids meals were tasty. The dedicated frier and large menus were a plus. The gf buns are not recommended. Stick to the yummy seafood

Amazing! Had an entire gf fisherman’s platter. (Share this with others - it is gigantic!) separate fryer, knowledgeable staff, entire menu is marked and almost everything can be gf!

The menu is extra clear with what is gluten free or not. The fry batter used is totally gluten free, and the serving staff is wicked conscious of allergens. Upon alerting the staff of the severe allergy, they took extra note and had the chef who prepared the meal bring the gf plate out. Their caution paid off as I did not get sick afterwards.
