Not celiac friendly. Not many non fried options. No dedicated fryer. Great staff!

just went here last night and they were just great. asked about dietary restrictions when we called for a res. they have tons of GF options on the menu. when I said I was dairy free also, the manager came to me and said the Caesar dressing couldn't be modified and ordered me others that would work. she then said she would personal monitor my good prep and bring it to me herself. I had amazing lobster w2 sides and a salad. I get sick at restaurants frequently, and this please just did a wonderful job.

Tremendous GF options. The food was delicious. I honestly felt completely normal here because I could order almost anything I wanted. I had fish and chips for the first time in over 5 years! Kudos to Legal Seafoods!!

The fried items marked GF on the menu are cooked in a shared fryer. Our server made us aware of this prior to our order, so we were able to avoid these items. I wish they would mark this on the menu. Beyond this issue, my experiences at the Legal Test Kitchen in South Boston have been overwhelmingly positive. The servers are very knowledgeable, the restaurant offers good gluten free rolls, and GF items are delivered separately to the table by the manager. Lots of good menu options.

As others note, thus location is NOT celiac friendly, although the current menu notes some fried foods as GF our waiter pointed out the coating is GF BUT only one fryer! You can get GF rolls and the grilled seafood, but disappointing when you had heart set on fried calamari. Our waiter was great and very accommodating so I give 3 stars for that but if in Seaport go to regular Legals across the street

Yep, made the mistake of coming here with my boss thinking it was just like all the other Legal Seafood restaurants. If you are used to Legal's Celiac friendly service in their regular restaurants, then do not come here. I wish they had just posted something on the door to alert people with Celiac and direct us to go elsewhere. Not a good experience at all.

This is the test kitchen and they do not have a gluten free menu like a regular legal seafoods. Very disappointed I could not get fried calamari or clam chowder gluten free. Very minimal GF selections and not very accommodating. I prefer the regular legal seafood would go there next time so I have more options!

This is the test kitchen location. Doesn't have an actual GF menu, perhaps because menu changes several times a year. I do wish they had an actual GF menu, instead server helps you pick what to order and manager seems to bring out food. GF beer, cider, and rolls.

I have had many great meals here including fried shrimp and fried fish. Their attention to keeping everything gf and separate is very comforting.
