I was able to order the GF fish and chips without dairy in the batter, something that other LS locations won't do. The fish wasn't heavy oily like I remember fried fish being. Very light and flaky! The battered onions were droopy oily, but tasty.

I’ve been coming here during market for years....this year...it has really changed....very inflexible....also changed my normal dish....then told me they didn’t....now you know us gluten free folks are TOTALLY AWARE OF OUR FOOD. the bread that used to be amazing was less than acceptable tonight....I doubt I’ll make it back...very sad...
Amazing fresh rolls, very knowledgeable staff that explains in detail. I might move to Atlanta now...
Yes
Staff was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free/celiac preparation. The server went above and beyond to explain things to me in a way that made me feel comfortable. The food was delicious. There was only one downside, but it was a big one.
Fifteen minutes after putting the first bite of food in my mouth I was sick in the bathroom. I had a strong reaction to something there... I had the gluten free rolls before my meal, then had the gluten free fish and chips (fries). It also came with fried onion rings on top. They were aware of my “allergy” so I’m not really sure what specifically caused the reaction, but something must’ve slipped thru the cracks. All of their batters were supposed to be gluten free so I didn’t think twice about eating the fried food.
The food was so good and they seemed so knowledgeable I would honestly try them again the next time I’m in Atlanta. Accidents happen, and if it was just an isolated mistake I would still like to try a lot of items on their menu. They told me the owner had celiac and they go to great lengths to make sure it’s prepared celiac friendly, but I guess there are no guarantees.
This place is amazing!! Brown rice batter for fried calamari, gluten free buns for sandwiches. Most of the menu can be made gluten free. The staff is very knowledgeable. They have a completely separate kitchen for gluten free orders, plus the chef will come out and talk to you about the meal to make you feel even more safe. I will be back.

Good GF options, including fried seafood and rolls.
great options, amazing GF rolls, clearly use to handling GF requsts.
Yes
The GF fried calamari was great. They also had the option of GF popcorn shrimp, fish and chips and other items that typically aren’t GF. They served hot GF bread. And everything was clearly marked on the menu. Our server was delightful and the staff was really fun and friendly.
Legal Seafood always goes the extra mile and is very cautious about cross contamination. The new menu now shows GF options rather than separate menus. I always enjoy starting with a bowl of GF light clam chowder. Today I had the seafood casserole with shrimp and scallops. Everything was perfect. Love this place!

This place is fantastic! I mentioned to the server that I needed GF options. She was knowledgeable and friendly. And I finally got to have something GF and fried! The buffalo fried shrimp was fantastic! They brought warm GF buns to the table, so I was able to enjoy while the folks I dined with has their own buns (served separately). Absolutely great food, no reactions. The only problem was I ate waaaaay more than I should have!

I usually stay away from chain restaurants, but not in this case. I love this place. Sometimes I crave comfort foods and they have an extensive menu of things to choose from. Their fried shrimp and calamari is delicious. I've eaten here many times while traveling and is has always been safe.

Amazing food, huge portions and very knowledgable of celiac. Lots of choice!
We were at the World of Coca Cola (Centennial Park and Acquarium) so lucky to find this good fish restaurant so close. We were told that the manger is very aknowledge with GF and being Celiac, so every plate will be double checked before being served. I decided to trust them and let my daughter have fish and chips. They brought her some GF rolls which she enjoyed hawith butter. For some reason she didn't like F&C, but didn't get sick, so I think it was only her personal taste.
Hi I'm Morgan and like most of you I have celiac. Not to long ago we went to Legal Sea Foods for a family event. The hostess said that they were 100% gluten free and that I could even get fish and chips! I was thrilled! When everyone ordered I assured our waiter that I had a severe gluten allergy and ordered the fish and chips. They were delicious! Until on the car ride home we had to stop for you know what! I was up sick all night! When I was up to the task and called the restaurant. The manager was truly very upset about it and gave us a 75 dollar gift certificate, but I don't think I will be going back anytime soon!

This place is fantastic! Everything fried is gluten free and they use canola oil (no soy!!!)!!! This was the first time my son was able to order French fries or onion rings at a restaurant! The gluten free dinner rolls are from "somethingsweetwithoutwheat.com" and they were fabulous! This place took note of all of our many, many allergies, and cooked our food to order. We will be returning!

Wonderful fried yes I said fried fish! The breading was crisp and the manager brought out my food! Can't wait to go back!

Best experience I had in Atlana. Good food and knowledgable staff. Manager brought out my food.

Phenomenal service!!! Staff was amazing. We ate there twice and both times were good. The overlooked one thing a little and immediately fixed it. The GF rolls were wonderful!! And the fried shrimp. The onion fries were good too.

I have reviewed them in the past after a major disappointment. Yesterday's visit was phenomenal though. The GF rolls were warm and soft, almost like my husband's non GF rolls. The GF fried calamari was delicious with consistent breading and chewy squid. The fried Fisherman's Platter was delicious and the clams were tender and yummy. The waitress really seemed to understand my needs and the manager brought out my meals. We went back hesitantly after a bad experience there this past spring, but now this restaurant is back on the top of my list!

The food was excellent! They can make anything gluten free. I was so excited to have fried shrimp again!

This restaurant understands Celiac. There are many GF options and they even had GF rolls. They have fries that they make in a separate pan. Jeff, our waiter, was well educated on proper GF preparation and was very happy to accommodate us! It was a pleasure to dine here. Food was absolutely delicious!

Stopped in here for lunch not knowing if they had gf options and I was so impressed. They had rolls that were delicious and I had a shrimp, broccoli and rice dish that was amazing.
By far, the BEST gluten free meal I have EVER had! Fried shrimp, clams, & scallops. Fries and rolls were GF too! Manager hand delivered my food. Highly, highly recommend!!
wonderful GF fried shrimp! GF menu and a staff that cares.

We had a great GF experience here last night for dinner...much better than my first time. Note to self: this is a seafood place, so stick with the seafood. I'm glad I had the swordfish last night with Bernaise butter sauce and GF french fries. Yes, they actually offer GF safe french fries. I literally asked the waitress, the kitchen manager and the guy that brought our food if these were safe. The manager explained that they get a clean pan and fresh oil and fry them up separate from the regularly fried foods. My fellow GF-diner had the salmon and red onion jam, which he raved about all night. We skipped dessert, but we will definitely be back for me. In case you are wondering, on a previous and not as appetizing experience I had the jasmine rice special with broccoli...thus, I advocate the fish over the other specials.
Update 2/6/2013: lunch today was delicious. I had the GF seafood casserole with GF crumbs on top and a side of braised greens. The scallops were the best part. Warning: this dish is drawning in butter and garlic; it could be a bit messy if you have an important meeting or are dressed nicely. Eat carefully...but enjoy the buttery goodness!
Staff ver knowledgeable, great experience, great food.
Server and staff were super friendly, but the food was not good. Our first player of gf calamari was gross - breading falling off and mushy. She brought out a second plate which was much better, but I wish she'd never brought out the first. My salmon wasn't cooked all the way through either. Had stomach issues for 36 hours after my meal, probably due to the grease. Really disappointing.
try the gf calamari... chicpea flour breading, amazing!! also, the gf rolls are better than the reg. dinner rolls, according to my non-gf husband. service and food are top quality.
The menu is extra clear with what is gluten free or not. The fry batter used is totally gluten free, and the serving staff is wicked conscious of allergens. Upon alerting the staff of the severe allergy, they took extra note and had the chef who prepared the meal bring the gf plate out. Their caution paid off as I did not get sick afterwards.

I got the fried fish sandwich and calamari for an appetizer. Would definitely come here again.

We had an excellent dinner here and love that all their batter is gluten free! They have a wonderful variety of food and drink options. We loved that you can get so many items here that are typically hard to find at other restaurants that claim to have gluten free. Do yourself a favor and try the calamari…yum! Our server was very attentive and made our experience that much better. We can’t wait to go back!

Been here quite a few times and have been please every time! They have separate fryers and gluten free sushi! Other legal seafood locations do not offer sushi. They have rolls but not for the lobster roll. Staff was knowledgable and helpful!
