The staff at the Burger Kitchen got confused and delivered our kid’s meals with a gluten bun. Because they have no indicator regarding gluten-free food, we did not catch the error until we noticed the buns looked significantly different from the adult GF buns. Alas, by then one child had taken a couple of bites. Subsequent discussion with the manager revealed that the sterling kitchen practices from a couple years ago changed and introduce significantly higher chances of error and glutening. My advice: Bring your own food to this park. Unlike other parks, Legoland does allow coolers for those with medical dietary needs.

Dinner at the skyline lounge at the Legoland hotel. My son (with celiac) had the GF burger with fries. Burger was good but came out on GF bread rather than a bun. Breakfast buffet at the Legoland beach hotel: the chef walked us around and told us exactly which items were celiac safe. Eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fruit were all safe. The chef made us GF toast and tater tots too! Pepper & Roni’s in the Legoland Park: they have GF pizza that is made to order which is probably better than the regular pizza which sits under the heat lamps for who knows how long.

We didn’t eat at Legoland itself as we brought our own cooler so we had no risk of ruining the day, but there seem to be several options available. Legoland Hotel has dedicated fryer for fries and has several gluten free dishes (incl burgers and pizzas). LEGOLAND Beach Retreat (where we stayed) also has gluten free pizza and burgers but fries are not gluten free. Gluten free toast, French toast and potatoes available for breakfast, bacon, eggs and sausages are buffet but away from any gluten.

We had made to order GF personal size pizzas at the pizza/pasta buffet. The staff explained that they open all new ingredients to make them and my son did not get sick. They tasted pretty decent.

My family tried to eat at Burger Kitchen. There was a staff member at the front of the line and I said I had a severe food allergy and would like to speak to a manager. She said anyone could help me, but behind the front counter I could see bread was everywhere. I told her my allergy was severe and I would feel a lot better if I could speak to someone personally because I had some questions. She actually rolled her eyes at me! Not every restaurant gets it right but I have never felt so disrespected and triviliazed. Needless to say I didn’t eat anything at Legoland.

Grilled cheese at panini grill was supposedly made on GF bread and a separate panini grill, but my son got sick....

The pizza/pasta buffet had EXCELLENT GF personal pizzas - we had to go up and request them and they cooked to order with whatever toppings we wanted. They took a long time because of the process of maintaining the GF separate. Advice: they are personal size, so order two right up front so you don't have to wait for a second one. The salad bar was good as well while we waited.

Staff at hotel ok for buffet. Not as good as Disney. In the park ate at the smokehouse. More knowledgable and good food.

I asked an employee if he knew of any restaurants with GF options and he showed me on the park map where all options are listed. My family ate at Castle Burger. The lady was very helpful. She told me they had GF buns and then let me look at the ingredients for the fries which appear (I don't have serious reactions, so this is ok for me, but definitely look at the ingredients if you have severe reactions)as well. It took a little longer to prepare so she even offered me a free bottle of water for waiting. It was so nice to be able to eat burgers with my family and have the staff be so friendly and accommodating.

terrible food service. They didn't even know what gluten was, and we're extremely disorganized! very frustrating, no a plain salad don't count as a "gluten free option"! Get your act together and hire staff and more importantly a manager that knows what they're doing. Sad, we expected so much more. Really makes the park look second rate, no wonder Costco has coupons for 1/2 off admission.
