Some of the best crepes I’ve had (including before diagnosis). I ordered a gluten free savory crepe for lunch, it was so good I went back and got a dessert crepe. It is a shared environment so cross contamination is possible but I felt like they knew what they were talking about and I saw them clean the equipment. I did not get sick.
Great savoury crepes! Server asked if we were coeliac before ordering and reassured us that the hot plates get cleaned before a gf order is made. Not a separate kitchen but care put into ensuring the safest experience.
Really delicious and a great range of options for both sweet and savoury crepes. They use buckwheat flour for gf crepes.
Delicious buckwheat crepes! They clean off the pan and are clear about the precautions. They don’t have a separate gluten free crepe pan but I was comfortable with it since they cleaned it well and used a separate spatula
The crepe was amazing, and the staff made sure I knew how they kept the enviroment safe. The batter was made early in the morning before gluten ingredients were introduced, and a fresh spatula was used anytime the gluten free crepe was touched. It was a great enviroment!
Not celiac friendly. A big dissapointement went specifically to this restaurant as it came up as the top gf restaurant in Dublin. On arrival I was told they do not wipe down any surfaces so yes they have gluten free options but the kitchen is fully contaminated. Not celiac friendly
I emailed ahead to check that they still do buckwheat galettes and they do! They’re even cooked separately in the morning before they cook the normal crepes so there’s minimal cross contamination. If you tell them you’re coeliac they’ll flag it in the receipt and make sure to use separate utensils. I felt very confident ordering my breakfast there. Super tasty too
I ate here yesterday morning and asked at the till if they could cater for Coeliac, which they said they could and marked the order to bring attention to the kitchen and everyone else that I was Coeliac. I ordered a Buckwheat pancake with Nutella and a latte. The food came quickly and was tasty. I'm not sure to what lengths they went to in the kitchen as I was poorly later on and other reviews make me wonder if it from here but I can't be sure so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Recommend anyone else going that you watch the kitchen just to be safe.
Nice food and coffe. Service can be very slow nonetheless and they gave me the wrong order a few times. Overall disappointing.
Not only were the crepes delicious, they were also completely safe. After talking with the staff about it, I learned that they make the gf crepes ahead of time to avoid cross-contamination. Also, we Nima tested the two crepes we got, and both came back with no gluten found. The banana, strawberry, and Nutella crepe was great and I was happy to have found this place.
My wife has celiac’s and has Nima tested all of the crepes she ordered (has to be three or four crepes over two Dublin visits). All came back as no gluten found.
They have an extensive crepe menu with both savory and sweet options. As others have noted, if you say it’s for a celiac they will print that on the receipt. I do not have celiac and have ordered regular crepes each time. They have done an excellent job of not cross contaminating or mixing up our orders.
Great find! Friendly staff and plenty of gf options. I had the GF power crepe....made from buckwheat. Very filling & tasty. Want to go back for a sweet crepe!!!
I had the gf buckwheat crepe which was amazing! It did not have the strong buckwheat taste I’ve had before. The staff was knowledgeable about gf and even had written on the receipt for the food to be prepared for celiac. They were very friendly and helpful.
5 stars only because I can't give it 6! crepes were amazing. Fast service, menu marked with gluten free. Staff asked about celiac preparation as well.
Crepes were delicious and safe for celiacs!! Got the Canadian crepe, the truffle cheese crepe, and the Nutella crepe with ice cream. All delicious.
The buckwheat crepes are delicious!! I had the 3 B's or something which had beef, fried eggs and caramelized onion and the Nutella, banana and strawberry one. Both were amazing and cost around €7.50 each. They ask if it's Celiac or just a preference too so I assume they cook on a separate pan.
