Typical Italian restaurant - mainly pizza and pasta but a few meat and fish dishes
Before we visited I looked at the menu on their website and chose the dish I thought was most likely to be gluten free and dairy free
When we sat at our table we were given menus which included allergen symbols for every menu item. It is the first time I have seen the allergen symbols in Cape Verde
Unfortunately the dish I had selected before our visit contained dairy. I then looked at all dishes which were gf and df and the one dish which met the criteria contained cous cous. At which point I lost all confidence in the allergen listings.
They may have had gf pasta or pizza bases - I did not ask.
Because of the cous cous error I decided it was safest to leave
— Gluten-free items are marked on the main menu
