We had the most fabulous meals here. 4 of us came in on a Thursday night and the food was so delicious and some of the best gluten free and dairy options! It was so good we came back a week later with 6 people and 3 of them don’t have to eat gluten free and were impressed as well. The desserts were outstanding! We ate the carrot cake (my favorite), my husband’s favorite, the chocolate cake and friends enjoyed the bread pudding.

This was seriously the best gf restaurant I’ve ever been to. I frequently visit LA and make it a point to go here. If you like cheese, their cheese bread is decadent. My favorite was the za’atar flatbread. They have a full restaurant menu and a bakery. The food was very fresh and lots of healthy menu items. Great for people with celiac and their friends/family. They also mark dairy free options and have some interesting menu options.

Levant is as great as everyone says. The feeling of being able to order anything on the menu with no questions or substitutions is sublime! The garlic bread was amazing. Pita, also amazing. It was fun to order a gluten free beer too! The desserts, if I’m being honest, were just ok, but I still appreciated every crumb.

One of the best carrot cakes I’ve had, didn’t taste GF at all, and then a full range of Lebanese food with no gluten or CC. What more could I ask? A very nice owner that accommodated me coming in 15 min before closing so that I could eat :)

My favorite restaurant AND my favorite dedicated gluten free restaurant. I come from a Lebanese family, and the food here is authentic and has given me the opportunity to have my favorite dishes that I lost the ability to eat. The staff and owner are knowledgable and welcoming, and I recommend this place to everyone I know!

My go-to place for delivery so I don’t need to worry about cross contamination. I LOVE Mediterranean food, finding Gf pita has made me so happy. Cannot recommend them enough.

I live in the neighborhood and am so glad to add this place to the Bread Block, Honey Hi rotation. Stand-outs include Pita & Hummus, the Grass Fed Kibbeh, glutenberg beer, and desserts (they also run a completely GF bakery). If you happen to be on the Eastside definitely worth a visit!!

entirely gluten free! a dream for us celiacs. The flatbreads (Man’oush) are incredible. The Kashkaval (sheeps milk mozzarella style cheese) and za’atar man’oush was to die for. plenty of dairy free/egg free/vegetarian options. I felt good eating it, and since, my body has been very happy with the food. Really great atmosphere too. The restaurant is run by 3 siblings and is actually transplanted from Raleigh, NC! Lorenzo and Selene the waiters were so kind and warm as well. We’ll be regulars here for sure.

I LOVE levant. Huge menu with tons of options for anyone and lots of flavor. And a bakery next door with to die for cookies and bread. They also don’t use oats which is great if you’re sensitive to them (like I am) — they mainly use rice, potato starch and tapioca. Everyone who works there is lovely and will walk you thru the ingredients. Also beautiful outdoor patio, interesting huge drink menu (alc and lots of alc free), and great dining experience whether you’re GF or not.

Everything was 100% gluten free, but other ingredients were not well labeled. I have a garlic allergy, and garlic was listed on many items on the menu, I chose a salad with a side of chicken that seemed safe. The chicken was coated in garlic, I should have asked but just though it was odd other chicken dishes stated garlic and the one I got didn’t. I also has the baguette but it was on par with the frozen ones they sell at Whole Foods, unfortunately. They also brought my BF completely the wrong dish, he didn’t say anything cause he liked what they brought out too. Apparently they also have desserts, but there was no dessert menu. Very odd experience.

Incredible place to feel free to eat anything. My non gluten free friends love going here. All dough-based items will blow your mind. Flatbreads and the garlic bread are a reason to go by themselves. But the rest of the menu is also great. Go here!

This was the best meal I’ve had in my entire life. I went for my birthday and I was SHOCKED by how delicious!! Everything is gluten free, I was so excited to eat pita bread again! The little cheese calzone things on the appetizer menu… I could eat them for days! On top of that, the waiter, possibly the owner, took such great care of us. I highly recommend getting the chocolate cupcake with a coffee…. Oh man! *chefs kiss*

The food was excellent! I am celiac and my girlfriend has a wheat allergy so we are both very sensitive to cross contamination, and having a totally gluten free restaurant made us feel very safe! We had the garlic bread to share which was so fluffy and delicious for gluten free, and then i had a flatbread and they had a falafel sandwich. both were delicious and the sandwich was served on pita which isn’t something we can usually find gluten free. the dessert selection was also phenomenal and the owners were so nice and knowledgeable. the ambiance was also great! 11/10 experience definitely worth a trip!!!

Terrific, all gluten free restaurant! Love the food, all in a very charming indoor and outdoor space. One of these wonderful spots with unique, great tasting food, super nice owners and staff, and excellent on its own without tasting “gluten free” at all. It’s an easy place to bring people, whether gluten free or not. It’s a great spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Best pancakes and wonderful egg dishes, among other favorites on the menu.

It’s so nice to go to a restaurant that’s all GF and also doing a specific cuisine. It makes the experience feel totally normal, not like some sort of exception or compromise.

This Lebanese restaurant in the heart of Silverlake works whether you’re GF or not. Went there for a simple brunch so didn’t sample a lot but the eggs and shard hula were good and the flatbread was fresh and flavorful.

Breakfast pastries looked nice and homemade too but didn’t try. A must go if you’re on the east side.

Ordered first time home delivery Lentil soups and the Mediterranean flat bread - they have a professional packaging for home delivery and it was still hot - wow what a first impression!!! We are hooked!

Soooooo good! Came here a week ago for the first time and had to come back again. Between my friend, my husband, and myself we've tried the following: pancakes, za'atar extra flatbread, brussel sprouts, shawerma sandwich, falafel sandwich, grass-fed beef kafta sandwich, and lentil soup. All delicious and will order again...once I've tried everything on the menu. Such a delightful and fantastic place,, especially for those of us with dietary restrictions (eg, celiac)!!

I had been so excited to try this restaurant since I have celiac disease but I was disappointed with our meal. I ordered the chicken plate…The pita bread had kind of a weird texture that I didn’t love. The hummus was delicious but my chicken was dry. .I will probably go back to try something else

Stellar gluten free food! Must-try for Celiacs. The pita was amazing - crusty, chewy, did not taste GF at all. This is extremely hard to find and was a real treat. Same goes for the baked goods, the chocolate chip cookie was the best I've had in a while. We tried and shared a variety of things, the portions were good and the food fresh and delicious. Yummy baba ganoush. Very cute inside and we loved sitting on the secluded patio outside. Also loved the parking lot! Staff super kind and attentive. They opened our byob wine and let us know they are waiting on their liquor license. Look forward to trying their brunch, and coming back to try more of their menu!
